The Blue Swan is located in West Dennis Village and meanders near the shores of The Swan River as it meets the open sea of Nantucket Sound. The inviting south facing beaches including South Village Beach and West Dennis Beach are within a 1 and 2 miles respectively to this vacation home with endless outdoor activities including kayaking, sunbathing, boating, biking (Cape Cod Rail Trail nearby) and retail shops and restaurants. Nearby coffee shops, deli's and famous seafood restaurants are two blocks away.

This peaceful property has been thoroughly remodeled with an open floor plan including a living room with fireplace and built-in bookcases, a cozy dining room, and a new well stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances and natural quartzite countertops, along with a screened in sun porch with a southernly exposure to enjoy that warm cup of coffee. There are hardwood floors throughout with new comfortable modern furniture accented with cottage decor and area rugs. The generous size bedrooms offer large closet space with bureaus and central air. There are two rooms with queen size beds and one room that offers two twin beds. The house can comfortably sleep 6 people. In addition, the house is well equipped with a full size washer and dryer.

The private fenced backyard is peaceful and offers a new patio for the summer of 2023 with an outdoor weber gas grill and outdoor seating. The carport offers shade and protection to your car and ample parking for 3 additional cars. The neighborhood is friendly and allows you to easily access the main roads to the beach and town.

Dennis is located in the Mid-Cape which is the pulse and heart of Cape Cod. It is comprised of 5 villages, each having its own personality. These villages include East Dennis, South Dennis, Dennis Port, Dennis Village and West Dennis.

Dennis is a beach goers paradise. The Northside includes Chapin Memorial, Mayflower, Corporation, Harbor View and Cold Storage Beach. On the Southside there is West Dennis Beach, South Village Beach, Haigis Beach, Glendon Beach and Sea Street Beach. As a visitor it would be fun to explore one each day.

Private trash pick up is offered once a week.

    Perfect mid Cape rental

    We rented this beautifully renovated house for Father's Day weekend with our two grown sons. The location was perfect, we were able to visit both ends of the Cape easily. Neighborhood was peaceful but surrounded by all amenities, including fantastic restaurants and shops. The home itself was very comfortable and beyond adequately stocked with anything you could need. We were even greeted with fresh flowers and snacks! Owner was very responsive and made us feel as if we were borrowing a friend's home , rather than renting a generic house. The outdoor shower was a big hit and we loved hanging out in the gorgeous yard. Wish we lived closer so we could return more often. show more show less

    The Perfect Getaway!

    Come one, come ALL to this pristine, cozy, spacious Cape house! For a last-minute birthday weekend getaway, we came across this beautiful Dennis property. It is JUST as beautiful and comfortable as the pictures show. Not pictured is the beautiful backyard complete with pergola & picnic table, and fire pit surrounded by adirondack chairs! From the moment we spoke on the phone, Laurie was welcoming, accommodating, and joyful. She communicated promptly and gave us all the information we needed prior to our stay. They provided plenty of pamphlets about many different towns on the Cape and activities to note. Laurie emailed us a list of restaurants to try and beaches to visit. They anticipated our every need and wish! This is a great option for both veteran Cape vacationers or new folks looking for a spot central to many attractions. It is a perfect house to relax in.     Awesome Getaway!

    We were taking a stab in the dark and stumbled upon this property. I have spent quite a bit of time vacationing on the Cape and this was a fantastic experience! The cottage is easy to get to, very close to beautiful beaches and wonderful restaurants. It's also in a quiet neighborhood. We rented off season but now that we know about it, we're booking for our entire family this coming summer. The proprietors of the property could not have been nicer. They really make you feel welcome. They made me feel like family! Great place to kick back, sit on the porch after a day at the beach. The beds are really comfortable and I was able to get some badly needed rest. The living room and kitchen are really geared for comfort and conversation. Thank you for a wonderful experience.     Perfect vacation home!

    We absolutely loved our vacation at this wonderful home on Cape Cod. The house is very tastefully decorated, well-equipped, and offers plenty of space to relax after a great day at the beach. We loved the quiet neighborhood and being able to walk to nearby coffee shops and restaurants.

    This is our first summer hosting a weekly rental. We are new to the process, but have lived on the Cape most of our lives and welcome any questions a guest might have in regard to what to do or where to go. We both sell real estate on the Cape and have probably sold a house in every town and we enjoy meeting new people. My family owned and operated an Inn in Osterville when I was young, and I look forward to hosting travelers once again.

    What is special about this property?
    This property is centrally located to the village of West Dennis and its close proximity to the south side beaches. You can walk or bike to both town or beach and be within a mile of each in either direction. The location is quiet and the neighbors are friendly yet respectful. With that said, you can be within a few minutes of some great night life and entertainment.

    What is special about your town?
    West Dennis is amazing with the soft white beaches and the large selection of seafood restaurants in the summer. You will fall in love with old Cape Cod.
