You can cook in the fully equipped kitchen or use the gas grill on the patio listening to the ocean waves or make reservations at any of the great nearby restaurants. Spend relaxing days on the beach, just steps from the front door. Refresh in the in-door or outdoor shower. Take a short walk to the Market Place where you can enjoy mini-golf, ice-cream, restaurants, raw bar, shopping and bicycle renting. Or venture out to enjoy nearby golf courses, Mashpee commons, South Cape Beach, gorgeous walking trails, and bicycle paths. You can also choose to do nothing at all.     Fantastic last-minute vacation!

    Our week at Scott and Ruth's cottage was a last-minute getaway for us. The home was clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. The location cannot be beat! The walk to the beach is so short, we biked to Mashpee Commons and South Cape Beach to watch the sunsets. We walked to the Poppenesett Marketplace for coffee and ice cream. There are wooded paths to walk and run along. Scott was super responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. Just perfect for our family of four!

    My family and I just returned home from a wonderful week at this quaint cottage in Maushop Village. The owners, Scott and Ruth, were very responsive to any questions I had and the home was very clean and well-maintained, and perfect for a family of four to stay in for the week. The grill on the patio was very clean, and we had an easy time grilling and enjoying ourselves on their nice patio for dinner most evenings. You cannot beat the location as it is just a 3 minute walk to the beautiful beach, which makes it easy to bring the kids up for snacks or bathroom breaks. The outdoor shower was a huge plus after spending 7-10 hours a day on the beach. We really enjoyed our week at their home and our kids were really sad to leave.     Hello! We are Ruth and Scott, and we are so happy to share our seaside escape with you. We've owned this special place for the past 5 years, and it's been a true escape for us - a peaceful retreat where we've made countless memories. Now that we are traveling frequently to visit our grown children, we find that we spend less time here ourselves. Rather than let this wonderful space go unused, we've decided to open it up for others to enjoy. This isn't a corporate rental property. We want to share the beauty and serenity of our cottage with guests who will appreciate it as much as we do. We hope that it can become your escape as well.

It offers the perfect balance for guests - those who enjoy the quiet, peaceful escape of the ocean will find it just steps away, but it's also close to everything Cape Cod has to offer.
