Our family of four had an amazing week in Maushop Village. Scott was wonderful to work with and very prompt in his responses, especially with all of my questions! The home itself is beautiful, nestled in a community of beautiful cottages within New Seabury. There was plenty of room for our family of four- we loved having a full kitchen and grill to make meals! We loved that the cottage was all on one floor, perfect for our family with young kids. The outdoor shower was wonderful after a long day on the beach. The home's location is perfect. It is extremely close to the beach, with just a short walk and easy access to set up for the day. We loved being able to set up our things and go back and forth to the cottage. Beyond the beach, we enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, walking (less than 10 minutes) to the Popponesset Market and restaurants, and even exploring the gorgeous neighborhoods and trails in New Seabury. The cottage is close to many shops and restaurants, but once we were at the cottage, we truly didn't want to leave and often stayed and enjoyed the beach and nearby amenities. The cottage was clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. We hope to make a vacation to Scott's home a yearly tradition! The cottage was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 little ones! The owner provides everything needed which is extremely helpful especially for a family coming from Florida. The house was clean and well kept. Great location with beach steps away, and the village shops a short walk. Scott was great easy to communicate with, sent the deposit back right away and followed up every step of the way. Nothing negative to say!

Just got home from this quaint little cottage. You can see the ocean from the living room, and to get to the beach just a short walk around the corner to the steps that go down the dune to the beach. The beach was so lovely, just what your soul needs! The cottage is small, but big enough for 3. Dinner on the patio was so lovely, and because you are so close to the water there are very few bugs! New Seabury has an incredible marketplace with a grocery market, clothing, gifts, arcade, toy store, candy store, ice cream parlor, antiques/resale, raw bar, other restaurants, and frequent live music. Once you enter this community, you really don't have to leave if you don't want to. I so wish I had brought my bike! If you can, it would be so awesome as there are so many trails, and it would be so quick to get to the marketplace. FYI, there is no microwave, so don't bring quick meals or popcorn for the kids. But it was actually Monday before I even noticed! Such a sweet place and Scott and Ruth are very accessible if you need anything. show more show less

Our week at Scott and Ruth's cottage was a last-minute getaway for us. The home was clean and had all of the amenities that we needed. The location cannot be beat! The walk to the beach is so short, we biked to Mashpee Commons and South Cape Beach to watch the sunsets. We walked to the Poppenesett Marketplace for coffee and ice cream. There are wooded paths to walk and run along. Scott was super responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. Just perfect for our family of four!

My family and I just returned home from a wonderful week at this quaint cottage in Maushop Village. The owners, Scott and Ruth, were very responsive to any questions I had and the home was very clean and well-maintained, and perfect for a family of four to stay in for the week. The grill on the patio was very clean, and we had an easy time grilling and enjoying ourselves on their nice patio for dinner most evenings. You cannot beat the location as it is just a 3 minute walk to the beautiful beach, which makes it easy to bring the kids up for snacks or bathroom breaks. The outdoor shower was a huge plus after spending 7-10 hours a day on the beach. We really enjoyed our week at their home and our kids were really sad to leave.
