Welcome to my home in Orleans—the heart of Cape Cod. This is a space designed for those who want to slow down and reconnect with nature. Your spacious, sun-filled room overlooks a lush backyard full of perennials and visiting birds. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the rear deck or rinsing off in the fan-favorite outdoor shower after a day at the beach, the atmosphere here is casual, cozy, and distinctly "Old Cape."

The space
This lovely Cape House was built in the 1950's in the typical 3 season Cape Cod summer cottage-like style. After many renovations, it has become a modern 3 bedroom cutie. It is a very comfortable and quiet home, close to all Orleans has to offer with a partial bay view.

The Neighborhood - Located in a quiet, accessible area of Orleans. We are a short walk to the sunset views at Skaket Beach and a quick drive into town for local shops and dining. Restaurants, bicycling, whale watching, water sports, and hanging out in the back yard or at the beach are all main attractions. The house is an easy walk to a private beaches, with Nauset Beach just 4 miles away.<br /> <br /> Orleans is centrally located, so it is close to Wellfleet, Truro and Chatham, and still only about 45 minutes away from Provincetown. You can be in Boston in less than 2 hours, and NYC in under 5 hours if need be.<br /> <br /> Guest access<br /> Your Room: A large, airy bedroom with a comfortable bed and plenty of natural light.<br /> The Outdoors: Full access to the gardens and the deck.<br /> The Amenities: High-speed WiFi, easy parking, and local recommendations for the best hidden gems on the Cape.<br /> <br /> Private & Shared Spaces<br /> While this is a shared-home experience, your comfort and privacy are a priority.<br /> Modern Private Bathroom: You will have exclusive access to your own updated, modern bathroom—no need to worry about sharing!<br /> Shared Kitchen: You are welcome to use the kitchen to prepare light meals; it’s a functional, shared space where you can feel right at home.<br /> <br /> Other things to note<br /> A Note on the Vibe: This is a lived-in, "homey" space shared with myself and my friendly dog, Pearl. If you are looking for a sterile, hotel-like environment, this might not be the right fit.
