Surrounded by nearly 3/4 acre of private gardens in Truro, this light-filled two-story Cape home is ideal for nature lovers, arts enthusiasts, writers, and bibliophiles. Extraordinary location: easy access to both Wellfleet and Provincetown, and simple walk into the National Seashore. Whether you want to experience the Cape on foot, bike, or by motoring along lovely Truro/Wellfleet backroads, our home will serve you well. Short drive (<5 minutes) or 30 to 40-min walk to ocean beach through the woods.

Inside, you will find: one extremely large master bedroom suite on main floor with new Casper queen mattress and deep bathtub. Fully-equipped kitchen with open shelving and garden view; renovated in 2019. Two sitting rooms amply supplied with books and a dining room round out the first-floor space. Upstairs, two substantial bedrooms (one full bed, one queen bed), plus one smaller fourth bedroom that works well as a nursery (currently includes twin bed and travel crib but can be set up with queen-size inflatable for adults), and a full bathroom. The larger upstairs bedroom includes a television. Each bedroom in the home will be made up with freshly-laundered sheets and bath towels for your stay. We do not supply beach towels. Needed only for the hottest weeks on the Cape, the two largest bedrooms now have mini-split air conditioning and the rest are equipped with Vornado fans. <br /> <br /> Outside, you will find our large lot on a quiet street is a beautiful and calming landscape -- magnificent mature gardens, including a stunning rose bed, with winding paths and meditation spots, plus a large Trex back deck with large picnic table and grill to enjoy the extraordinary Truro daylight and sparkling nighttime sky. Berries in the garden in July and August (if the birds don't beat you to it!).<br /> <br /> Our home is easily situated to enjoy the natural beauty and culture of the Outer Cape. On foot from our street, turn left and walk directly into the National Seashore -- giving you direct access to very hiking or running trails that lead to a breathtaking view at the top of the dunes. Turning right out of our street by car, you'll have easy access to route 6, making it a 5 to 10 minute drive to multiple beaches (Longnook, Ballston, Corn Hill, Great Hollow), and 10 to 15 minutes to Wellfleet ponds.
