This terrific, centrally located home in Edgartown offers all the amenities travelers desire to have a truly wonderful family vacation. This home is set on a half acre at the very end of Windsor Drive, a ''no-thru street.'' As such, this prime location ensures a peaceful and private retreat where your children will be safe to play in and around the yard while also being close to the beaches, restaurants and shopping in Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven and Up-Island.

We have had several updates to the home to include full kitchen renovation, new roof with solar panels, new floors, paint and furniture in basement, updated landscaping to include a new driveway and walkway, upgraded ''comfort height'' toilets.

The 3+ bedroom home is bright, airy and clean, boasting central air conditioning and hardwood floors! There is an open floor plan on the first floor. The spacious kitchen has a peninsula breakfast bar and a dining room table which comfortably seats 6 people. Exit through the sliders to enjoy your morning cup of joe on the outdoor deck with a table and chairs - or if you prefer, sit on the comfy chairs/sofa on the screened-in porch off the dining room. The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area. The cathedral ceilings and Palladian window provide plenty of natural light. Enjoy family time relaxing on comfortable sofa seating while listening to your favorite music, reading a book, playing a card or board game, or watching TV on the large, flat screen TV. When you come home from the beach or a long bike ride - enjoy spritzing off in the spacious, enclosed outdoor shower right on the back deck!

There is an en suite main bedroom with a king bed on the first floor. The master bath has a double sink and bathtub/shower. Behind the louvered doors, you will find a full-sized washer and dryer. This bedroom is ideal to offer separation from kids, or as a perfect ''no stairs'' bedroom for grandparents.

Upstairs you will find 2 large bedrooms and a full bath with double sinks. The first upstairs bedroom has two full-sized beds. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a comfortable lounge chair. This bedroom has a door leading directly to a shared bathroom with two sinks and a bathtub/shower combination. Both bedrooms are equipped with flat screen HD TV's.

Got teens like us? The ''Piece-de-Resistance'' is the finished basement. This is a perfect space for the teenagers and ''overflow'' guests with a large family room, a bathroom, and bar/kitchen area (with a refrigerator and small stove/oven). There is a queen-sized futon sofa/bed and another large flat screen TV mounted on the wall. And there is a space-age steam shower stall in the bathroom.

There is a sizable front and back yard where you can roast marshmallows in the fire pit or play cornhole, KanJam and SpikeBall (all supplied in the shed). Grill your favorite foods - lobster, clams, steak, chicken and veggies from Morning Glory farm on the Weber propane grill while you enjoy your favorite beverage on the deck.

Windsor Drive has a walking or bike exit to Tar Kiln Rd, for easy access to the many bike paths and the Correllus State Forest, making it easy to explore the Island by foot or by pedal. It is also a quick ride or drive to the West Tisbury/Edgartown Rd, Morning Glory Farm, Katama, Edgartown Center, Long Point Beach, South Beach and State Beach. From the bike path, you can ride to the Plane View Restaurant at the MV Airport - a favorite spot for a delicious breakfast with the kids who love to watch the airplanes land and take-off. And who knows? Maybe you'll spot a celebrity or two! Within 10 minutes, families can also reach the magnificent ocean and pond beach at Long Point - especially ideal for young children. At this beach, families enjoy walking back and forth between the dunes to access swimming in both the ocean and pond.
