This beautiful traditional colonial beach house has 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath waterfront home on the Pocasset River. It features a deepwater dock and a wrap-around enclosed porch. Bring your boat or just watch the boats go by. Located in a private colony this house has real charm. The area is great for boating, beaching, and exploring.
Located on Buzzards Bay the area is fantastic for boating. Tobeys
Island is right out front and little bay. Explore the islands or water ski. Go clamming or just hang out on the beach.
The Pocasset River is great for Kayaking and exploring. There is all kinds of sea life around including crabs, fish, clams, and oysters. Throw out a minnow trap or a crab trap and catch something.

Tahanto, the private colony this house is located in, is just down the street from the center of town and Bucky Barlows' boat yard. You can go around the corner for groceries or breakfast.
Great restaurants are close by. The Chart Room is only a mile or two down the street and boasts waterfront dining. You can take your drink outside and watch the sunset. The Silver Lounge is close too and Uncle Bills country store.
There are public tennis courts available right around the corner. Also, the bike path is not far away.

Thanks again for letting us use your house, we had a great time. Your friend Tom was real helpfull too. He spent a lot of time with us and gave us maps, drove us to the public launch... Real nice guy.
I really enjoyed the bay and the location of your house and dock is perfect for boaters.
I didn't find the restaurants by water (which is something we like to do), but the days that we were on the water were very windy and choppy so I wasn't brave enough to travel very far by boat, especially not knowing where I was going. We loved the little bay where we water skied and swam up to the islands. We spent a lot of time in there.
We might come back, but can't plan that now. We would like to stay at your place again if you're still renting it.
Some mornings we had our coffee on the dock which was beautiful. We were too afraid to walk out on the dock at night.
The area was real nice, lots of places to eat, but not really walking distance, and most places closed early which we aren't used to. Where do you buy groceries? The neighborhood is charming and quiet and we felt very safe. Most people were very very friendly.
