Description

This large former ship captains home with ample parking, 5+ bedrooms and 3 full baths, a large deck for outdoor entertaining, is only a 5 minute walk to Woods Hole Village. Woods Hole has a number of restaurants, shops, the Martha's Vineyard Ferry, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, and other attractions. We are steps from the Shining Sea Bike Path and Nobska Beach, which has lovely views of the Nobska Point Lighthouse and Vineyard Sound. We are also only 3 miles from Falmouth Center, which has an even greater variety of shops, restaurants, and beaches. If you want to stay in a comfortable, spacious home near the charming village of Woods Hole, then this is the place for you!

Unfancy and fine

We've enjoyed this home a few times. It doesn't pretend to be an elegant vacation pad, but is a good place for family to gather, beds on 2 floors, good porches, garage storage, etc.

The location, though on Woods Hole Road, is close enough to Water Street, beaches and the bicycle path so that time spent is relaxing and SPECIAL!
