Quiet Lamberts Cove Vacation Home

The house was fine, nice and private and wonderfully situated in West Tisbury. Near Cronig's up island market and within easy distance of both Menemsha on one end, Vineyard Haven / Edgartown / Oak Bluffs on the other The downstairs bedroom was an asset and we would most certainly stay there again. The only minor drawbacks -- and they're easily taken care of -- are the lack of amenities like soap, condiments and being able to lock the oven door in order to use the oven.

Loved the house. It has a spacious open floor plan and is very private.
Also very clean. Plan on renting again.

We had a wonderful first family trip to the island with two little kids. The house was the perfect size and very clean. Bathrooms are nice and new and sleeping arrangements were great. We just loved the location and access to Lamberts Cove and Seths Pond. Pam was so nice and responsive to any questions I had throughout -- she even had great ferry tips! We would definitely stay here again!

Pamela's home in West Tisbury was a truly amazing home to spend a week's vacation. My family of 4 (2 kids ages 5 and 6] had a great time in the spacious wooded yard. The inside of the home was warm and inviting and gave us all such a great place to relax after a long great day of touring MV. I would recommend to anyone to rent Pamela's home any chance they can. We will be staying again next year. Pamela was also so courteous and great to deal with! This home made our vacation the best family time to date, and my kids still talk about the vacation. Also as a note this home was pet friendly, so our dog was able to enjoy a vacation also. show more show less

My wife and I just finished up 4 days in this lovely home. It is in West Tisbury and away from the touristy area. It is very quiet and secluded and well maintained. There is a small market just a short ride from the home called Cronigs Market. If you need something, you can probably find it in this small market. We found fresh produce that was grown right there on the island and a small fresh meat case.

The best perk of staying here is that you can use the Lambert's Cove beach. It is by far the best beach that we visited while we were there. The sand is very soft...we went out there on 2 nights just to watch the sunset....if you get a chance, we highly recommend that you do that. If you are looking for some great clam chowder, then you have to visit the Martha's Vineyard Chowder Company in Vineyard Haven. For $20 get a quart to go and bring it home. If you are looking for great lobster rolls, then the place to visit, and it's only on Fridays from 4:30-7, is The Grace Church on Woodlawn Ave in Vineyard Haven...it is well worth the wait...we got ours to go.

Again the house is nice and very comfortable...thank you, Pam, for opening it up for us to use. You were very quick in responding to all of our questions. We had a great time and very relaxing time there. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place away from the touristy area but also just a short ride to get there. If we ever get back to Martha's Vineyard, we will be sure to rent this place again. show more show less

Great time, priceless memories.

My husband and I stayed here recently and had a very pleasant experience which I will relate. The house is spacious, immaculate, and well maintained. For those unfamiliar with the island, West Tisbury is up island and away from the tourist areas. The location is extremely quiet but one doesn't feel it's isolated-it's a reasonably short drive if one wishes to go to the more crowded areas. There are a couple of restaurants in the area and Lambert's Cove beach is very close and quite lovely. The home's owner, Pam couldn't have been more gracious and professional and it was a pleasure to do business with her. I would definitely recommend this property. Thanks again Pam.

The place, the house is beautiful. Spacious high ceiling, shiny well-cared hardwood floors, neatly furnished rooms, rich nature surrounding, this homey place sufficing us with comforts mostly of the old-time or perhaps atmosphere of vineyard living, is everything we had been missing; Everything we needed.

Just waking up to that beautiful sunshine coming through the lovely many windows where all you can see are trees, smelling nice fresh air-- truly is priceless. This haven overall, satisfied our craving to completely savor the warmth and serenity of life at Martha's Vineyard.
