Lovely, spacious, privately situated post and beam main house and separate guest cottage near Lambert's Cove Beach. Beautiful grounds include a deck with a vine-covered pergola and gently sloping lawn backing up to conservation land with walking trails. This home has a total of 4 bedrooms and three bathrooms, plus two outdoor showers. The Main house has 1 first floor bedroom with a queen-size bed. There is a full bath with shower on the first floor. The second floor has 2 large bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a full-size bed and two twin beds. There is a full bath with tub/shower combination on the second floor. The kitchen and dining room are open. French doors lead to a circular screened porch off one side of the dining room and a large deck off the other side of the dining room. There is a spacious balcony off the second-floor master bedroom. Double height living room with floor-to-ceiling bookcases, piano and 55'' smart TV. Gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Many unique and charming features. The freestanding 400 square foot guest cottage has a bedroom with queen-size bed, sitting area, and full bath with shower, plus its own deck and patio. The main house and guest house each have their own outdoor showers.

There is a mini-split Air conditioning system in the main house and guest cottage with separate controls for each room.

This is a wonderful home for friends and families.

July and August rentals have a 7-night minimum with check-in/out on Friday. Off-season rentals have a 3-night minimum and can start on any day.

We are the new owners of this home, but it is not new to the rental market. Reviews from the previous owners are not transferable to us but previous renters gave this home all exceptional 5-star ratings. Here is what they said:

The furnishings are comfortable--great king-size bed! The screened porch is a great place to relax and the deck has a long table for eating outdoors. I don't think we heard a sound from the road or the neighbors during our stay.''

''The garden and grounds are also lovely, but we didn't spend much time there because we went to Lambert's Cove beach every day. It's the best beach for kids on the island, with soft sand and calm sea. In the mornings it's almost empty. The beach is about six or seven minutes from the house by car--a bit too far to walk with young kids but probably 20-30 minutes for adults.
