Bike, walk, or drive (only 1.5 miles) to Long Point Beach from a beautifully landscaped home on three acres.

The home is adjacent to Long Point Wildlife Refuge that has a freshwater pond and one of the most beautiful south shore ocean beaches on the island.

Centrally located for access to Vineyard towns. Renters can obtain a permit for access to the Lambert's Cove sound beach as well.

The house has been rented for eight years to very satisfied renters. Most of our renters have been repeat renters.

    A perfect Vineyard retreat! The house was everything we could have wished for and Jerry was a perfect host! Spacious, charming, and equipped with everything we needed. A plus !

    We have stayed here for the last two summers and loved it. The house is very clean and well organized. The kitchen has lots of room for helpers. We prefer ceiling fans but there is A/C. We used the screened porch every breakfast and dinner, and it made for a nice remote office too! Nice sunny deck. Long Point is great for kids - if the surf gets too rough we walk to the Great Pond where the water is warm. Very relaxing fun week!

    We have been renting our lovely home for the summer and off season for over 10 years. This 2023 season is the first time we are actually using WeNeedAVacation hence few reviews. We have typically used MV agencies.


    What is special about this property?
    The property sits on 3 acres of wooded land and is adjacent to Long Point Preserve and one can walk,bike, or drive through the preserve to Long Point Beach, one of the most beautiful south shore ocean beaches on Martha's Vineyard. The beach offers a pond over the dunes which provides calm water swimming.

    From the house one can walk or bike on dirt roads/trails for miles.

    The property has large decks and a screened in porch for dining outside.

    What is special about your town?
    The property is well located, about 10 minutes from the West Tisbury town center which hosts the Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The towns of Oak Bluffs, Edgartown and Vineyard Haven are all less than 20 minutes away.
