Spacious home located at the end of a private road that was very peaceful. Plenty of room, spacious deck, very comfortable beds and well appointed. Host was quick to respond and very accommodating.

We loved our time at the Owl's Nest this summer. Finding a home that is suitable for a family that is at different stages can be tough, and Liane and Drew's home is great for everyone. It is in a good location, well layed out, equipped with everything you need, and beautifully decorated. It provides the Up-Island peace and quiet the adults are looking for, and close enough to VH, OB, and Edgartown to make the kids happy. The basement is designed for kids of all ages and the ping pong table and games got a lot of use. In our case, it was great to allow the kids to have that space as their own for their toys, games, art etc. There is also an enormous backyard that we made great use of. Finally, the two separate living spaces gave us enough room for quality time apart when needed.

We throughly enjoyed the deck and had most of our meals at the table. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals at home including a gas grill and tools.

The bedrooms are spacious and there is plenty of storage. Having king bedrooms on both the first and the second floor was excellent for both families. All of the beds are very comfortable and everyone slept well. I usually bring my own linens to rentals, but this year I did not and the linens provided are high quality and very comfortable. Ample bath towels are provided.

For anyone that knows MV access to Lamberts Cove is a dream. We had exceptional beach days there.

Liane and Drew are great hosts. They are extremely responsive and got back to us quickly when we had questions. We are already looking forward to our next visit. show more show less
