Large, Private, Riverfront Home with Pool -- Sleeps 14

Our large extended family stayed at this great home for a week in July. Room for everyone. The AMAZING pool and deck with AMAZING views from every angle made it hard to leave each day - but we did, to venture out to enjoy Craigville Beach, kayaking the Centerville River and Four Seas Ice Cream . We are booked for another week in 2018 and can't wait to return!

A wonderful time was spent at this beautiful house with my family of 12. Plenty of room for the whole family to spread out and enjoy themselves. Conveniently located to rte 28, grocery store, beach and attractions. Extremely quiet and very private location. Use of the kayaks was nice to have, the pool was beautiful and surrounded by nature. Very attentive owner should you have any needs or concerns. Would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Our extended family of 10+ will be returning this August for our 3rd summer get-away at this wonderful home. The secluded location, super equipped house, screened in eating porch, amazing swimming pool and flower filled patio leave us wanting for NOTHING!!!! Absolutely everything - including kayaks, huge screen TV, bird feeders, and even the ocean is at our fingertips. There is more than enough room in the spacious CLEAN well maintained house for our children and adults to either escape one another or to gather together for great lobster dinners followed by evening games of Mexican Train. However, maybe the BEST amenity of this comfortable rental is that "Mike" is always just a phone call away! Never intrusive of our time or space, Mike is ever ready for questions about light bulbs, restaurant reservations, or hurricane possibilities!!! Truly our family cannot imagine a better "place " to spend our Cape Cod vacation and we look forward to again celebrating summer birthdays, lazy days, and fun filled nights at this oasis in Centerville. show more show less

We stayed here the second week of July 2011. We were six adults and a total of eight children, ranging from ages 3 to 10. We had a fabulous time here. The property is beautiful with awesome views and access to the river. We loved the kayaks too. All the equipment you need is there. The outdoors living space is also amazing. The pool is gorgeous and everything is so beautifully landscaped with plenty of seating for adults and children - all outdoors furniture is new and clean.
/>The house is large. We were a group of 14 and never felt crowded. The kitchen is fully stocked with whatever utensil you could possibly need. There is a lovely screened-in porch which was, by far, our favourite room. We spent so much time in there, eating every meal, and having drinks once the kids were in bed. In this room, we felt like we were outdoors, except no bugs!

Even though the weather was hot, the marble floors kept the home cool without the need for air conditioning. The house is fully stocked with enough towels and bedding.

It is a close drive to Craigville Beach, the grocery store, fish market, pizza place and liquor store. Hyannis Port is also close. From there, we went fishing with the kids and whale watching, which were both highlights of our trip.

Cape Cod is a great destination. It was well worth the ten hour drive from Canada.

Arrangements were streamlined and easy. Mike, the owner, is so easy to deal with. Arrangements were done mainly by email, then we exchanged cell numbers. Mike and Amy were there to greet us when we arrived and were so welcoming. Thank you Mike, Amy and Ann - we will have wonderful memories of your place. We hope to come back again to make some more.
