I would highly recommend this rental to anyone. My family spends a week here every year and love every minute of it. This cottage is deceiving from the outside as it looks small but it is quite roomy with four bedrooms (one of them large with two bunk beds that kids love). It also has a front room sitting area and another back room sitting area. The kitchen is roomy with a large round table that we often find ourselves sitting around playing games and having lots of laughs. The living room and bedrooms all have TV's and fans. Outside you have a huge table that we often have friends from other cottages over for dinners and gatherings plus there is a bonus deck with lounge chairs, a swing and bar style table and chairs. A great hangout when you are not at the beach. The thing that everyone talks about and looks forward to is the outdoor shower - perfect. It is our little summer oasis.

The owner Alan is also excellent. He always meets us in the driveway when we arrive and goes through everything in the house to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. He also goes out of his way to make sure all is well and is extremely responsive to any needs during your week. For example, this past summer we had a little problem with the refrigerator. We were not quite sure if it was anything serious but wanted to let him know before it became a bigger problem. Rather then take the risk of the refrigerator completely going he had a brand new one delivered the very next day! He apologized, fed my granddaughter ice cream and other things. He is truly a great guy and makes sure you are taken care of so you can enjoy your vacation worry free.

The private beach is very enjoyable, with no crowds, great sunsets and just a few feet from your door. We spend our days enjoying the sunshine, swimming, playing games on the beach, looking for sea glass and making memories our family and friends will never forget.

If you are looking for a stress free, relaxing vacation than this is the place for you!! When you arrive in the private parking lot, the owner greets you and is available to answer any questions you might have. Take the boardwalk to the cottage and right away you feel at home. Outside there is a big deck that is great to sit on any time of day. There is also a huge table that we had many family dinners at. From the outside, the cottage may be a little deceiving. It is very spacious and roomy inside. When you enter the cottage there is a nice sitting room. We spent many times here talking about what we were going to do that day or recapping on the days events. There are four bedrooms. The bunk bedroom is a big hit with the kids (and adults of all ages)!! The eat in kitchen is spacious and especially nice for family breakfast. At the large round kitchen table we played lots of games.

Then there is the private beach which is conveniently only 300 ft away. This is a bonus. Who could ask for more. So many fun times here .... day and night. When the tide is low, the kids have a great time walking on the sandbar. At night you can see an amazing sunset. A beautiful sight to see. Walking on the beach any time of day is nice too. When you finish your day at the beach, you can enjoy a nice outside shower. Everyone loves it here both young and old. We all look forward to coming back again next year. (Another bonus to this cottage is you don't have to cross the bridge to get Cape Cod living at its best!!) show more show less
