Managers/Owners Michael and Eden live in Boston and have enjoyed summers in Plymouth for several years. As a child, Michael grew up spending summers on Manomet Beach while his teacher father ran the Beachway clam shack on White Horse Beach during summers. His parents built the home next door to the property and lived for for several years on Old Beach Road. This corner of Old Beach and Fox Glove has been a spot for many happy memories.

What is special about this property?
We have rented vacation homes in beach areas and like to imagine our guests are as comfortable, inside and out, as we have been at our favorite rental homes. This home is comfortable and convenient in so many ways. There are 3 bedrooms -- the main bedroom has a queen-sized bed and is connected to a large bedroom with 2 twin beds, each with a pull-out trundle. Another bedroom has a queen-sized bed and lots of light. The living room sofa can comfortably accommodate a napper. Unique features include a large, screened side porch w/ an extra fridge for relaxing afternoons/meals/evenings/game-playing. Outside is a huge yard; plenty of parking; picnic table; grill; a fire pit; an outdoor shower; a laundry line. We like to cook so there are plenty of appliances and dishes. There are wonderful architectural details -- an A-frame ceiling, enormous fireplace, French doors. Some details are charmingly older, like an enormous farmer's sink -- but we've outfitted it with a disposal and have provided the convenience of a dishwasher and a brand-new washer/dryer. And, of course -- the pond is right across the road and the beach is just 2 blocks away!




What is special about your town?
We enjoy this area more and more every year. The cottage is steps from a fresh-water pond for fishing and swimming. The beach is just 2 blocks down a quiet road. An affordable and delicious family restaurant is conveniently located at the end of the road. Everything you need can be found within a short drive: grocery and liquor stores; CVS; coffee shop; ice cream parlors; Farmer's Markets, salons; public library; and a great variety of restaurants. For day trips, you are a quick ride from several golf courses, shopping areas, theater, a summer playhouse, additional beaches, the town of Plymouth (for more dining and historical sightseeing) -- and you can be on the Cape or in the city of Boston in less than an hour's drive.
