Beautiful, modern 4 bed/2.5 bath home with partial ocean view, a bike ride to Moshup, Lobsterville and Philbin beaches and the Aquinnah Cliffs. This home offers wonderful privacy with a large yard and three levels of outdoor seating for entertaining with a hot tub for after long days at the beach or on the bike. Aquinnah boasts the island's best beaches, sunsets and fishing in a quiet setting. 2 mins to Aquinnah Shops, 10 mins to Chilmark General Store, and 12 mins to Menemsha fish markets.

This wonderful modern home is bright and airy with 360 degree windows and skylights on the top floor where you will find the kitchen and dining area, living room and a half bathroom. This floor opens through a large glass sliding door to the middle deck where you will find an L-shaped couch, dining table and chairs, and a Weber grill. From this deck you have partial views of the ocean and the Elizabeth islands. You will also have access to the top deck which is great for sun bathing and star gazing, with lounge chairs and a table.

The middle floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a bunk bed. Both bedrooms have sliding doors that open to the deck with the hot tub (additional fee). There are also two full bathrooms on this floor.

The lower floor has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the second with a twin that pulls out into a king bed, and a den with a TV. The twin/king bedroom has a glass door that opens to the outside. This floor also has a washer and dryer. The home is heated and airconditioned.

Guests will have access to the whole property. The house is located at the end of a private lane off of Lighthouse road. There is a large parking area at the house for the guests' convenience. All of the local beaches are within a bicycle ride and there are many cyclists on the road. There is also a local bus that serves Aquinnah. Generally, guests will prefer to have a vehicle for this property.

The house is full service, meaning that all linens, towels and beach towels are provided.

Please note that there is a fee for the hot tub of $200 and a cleaning fee of $425 which represents the cost of these services.

Aquinnah is located on the western end of Martha's Vineyard referred to locally as ''up island''. Aquinnah is known for its beautiful clay cliffs and natural serenity, as well as its historical importance to the native Wampanoag people. The Gay Head Cliffs were designated as a National Natural Landmark by the National Park Service.

Aquinnah is home to one of the island's most celebrated restaurants and has a few other restaurants located at the Aquinnah Cliffs. At the Cliffs there is also a general store, and several stores with local gifts and souvenirs. Aquinnah has the islands most famous and picturesque beaches: Lobsterville, Moshup, Red, and Philbin. Most of the beaches are for local residents and their renters, only. Aquinnah is also known for its fishing and is quieter and more private than other island towns.

Guests will be able to take advantage of Aquinnah and the island best with a car. There is a large parking area at the house, which is located at the end of a lane. Aquinnah is served by a local bus and you can bicycle to all of the local beaches and the Aquinnah Circle shopping area, cliffs, light house and restaurant. read more show less
