Escape to this beautiful 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath home (with outside shower) located on 8+ wooded acres. With access to quiet yet popular walking trails and a short drive to exquisite beaches you'll instantly be on vacation! Surrounded by nature, you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of birds chirping and on occasion the distant sound of surf pounding. After a day at the beach you can eat dinner under the stars on the outside porch. The spacious yard allows plenty of space to throw some discs into a goal on property, shoot hoops on the small basketball court just next to the mudroom or, if you are feeling adventurous, jump on the buoy swing!

As you enter the home you'll find plenty of storage space, a washer and dryer and access to a large outside shower and deck. This mudroom leads into an open sitting area, sunny breakfast nook and a fully equipped kitchen. The soapstone countertop, sink with bay window and Viking stove top provide cooks and company to share space, comfortably. The attached dining area gets plenty of afternoon light and the sliding glass doors lead out to a large deck where you'll find a gas grill, seating area and large lawn. The living room provides a quieter space for reading by the stone fireplace or watching your favorite show on the 52'' smart tv. The hardwood floors throughout the home provide a clean and modern feel. Central air-conditioning keeps the home comfortable on humid summer days.

There are three bedrooms on the second floor. The main bedroom is spacious with a king size bed, a walk-in closet and attached bathroom. The clawfoot tub (separate from the shower) allows for an opportunity to relax and pamper oneself. The granite countertop with double sinks provides plenty of space for two people. Two bright bedrooms with four poster double beds share the 2nd bath on this floor. This bathroom has a tub/shower unit, a marble sink and tile floor.

Climb the stairs to the private suite on the third floor. This spacious room has a queen size bed, a day bed and its own private bathroom.

Location is 2 miles from West Tisbury Center where you'll find an art gallery, public library, a playground, general store and breakfast/lunch cafe, a gas station and an Artisans Fair Thursdays and Sundays.

In the other direction you'll drive 3 miles to reach Chilmark Center. Another playground, library, general store and gourmet restaurant await. From here you can travel 1/2 a mile to reach Lucy Vincent Beach, 2 miles to Squibnocket Beach or 1.5 miles to Menemsha. This quaint fishing village is known for its history and beauty. Grab takeout from one of the local fish markets and go to the beach for an epic sunset!
