Comfortable House Overlooking Menemsha: Waterviews + Sunsets

I absolutely adore this rustic and cozy place. It is where I have had the most heavenly nights' sleep... Maybe it's a combo of the quiet (except for the soothing buoy bell), a comfy bed, fresh air through the open window, and days of walking -- to Menemsha, to and along the North beach, and on the lanes and paths in the neighborhood). I highly recommend this property.

My roommate and I were so glad we were able to rent the McGhee house on Martha's Vineyard. The house and accommodations were just right. The front porch was great for morning coffee or entertaining friends for cocktails. The entertaining and dining space between the two bedrooms, was roomy and comfortable. The outdoor shower was fabulous! It was easy to get to the local fish store, Larsen's, for take-out or sit on the crates to eat lobsters outside. The Chilmark Store was also close by for pizza, grocery items or newspaper. The hosts were accommodating at all times. show more show less

We've stayed at this house for two seasons in a row now and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. It's a great spot, the setting is quiet with the front main room getting beautiful sun, breeze and a view.
The owners are delightful, easy to work with and quick to respond to communications.
We highly recommend it and plan to return!

We spent two weeks in this lovely house and hope to return next year. The house is so beautifully situated, with a sea view of Menemsha and sunsets every evening from every room!
Both bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable [the beds have comfortable mattresses] and the cheerful kitchen, 'though dated, has new appliances.
The living room is tastefully decorated and has a long and cozy window bench which looks out onto the deck and a view of the sea,
The owners made everything easy for us and it was a real pleasure to be guests in their home. show more show less
