Enjoy the quiet of up-Island Martha’s Vineyard. Sunny, Cape-style house on Abel's Hill with POOL set on ridge overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Chilmark Pond. Has wood paneled living room and large eat-in kitchen, both with fireplaces. The Little Gem is located on an easily accessible road about halfway between West Tisbury and Chilmark center, with access to private beach and tennis courts. The living room with large window seat overlooks the south lawn, and walkways. with a beautiful view beyond. Connected to the living room is an enclosed picture window kitchenette/study/sitting area with a fireplace leading to one of the bedroom suites (with two twins that can be combined to create a king size bed) with full bath/tub. The other two bedrooms are to the west of the kitchen and each have a queen bed and en suite bathroom. Upstairs is another queen bedroom and a room good for kids with two single beds. There is also a half bath.

The house is on a 7.7 acre wooded site with lawns, gravel drive, and winding paths through the woods with secluded openings ideal for play areas. Hidden from view is an adjoining small cottage sharing the pool (ok to set a schedule for private use). The private beach is reached by car or a ten-minute walk and is accessed through Chilmark Pond. Easy access to Lucy Vincent Beach and walk out the door to 60-acre nature preserve with trails in various directions.
