Everything we needed
Great location! Easy walk to the lake, right across a small rd. Kids could go back and forth to use the basement bathroom. Safe /friendly neighborhood. This was a great place for us to stay with my family. There was 6 adults, 2 children 6/8 and two dogs. No crowed feeling. House was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't go without. Really could not think of anything more that could have been provided. For our dogs Kathy provided dog bowl and linen. Beautiful view - We loved sitting on the porch that is screened in with a cup of coffee. Had all our meals on the porch. There is TV trays inside for eating. Used the fire pit at night. Everything we needed to start a fire was provided. Great communication and care . Had a great time. Very happy with our stay. Thank you Kathy for everything! We will rent again show more show less

Oasis at the Lake
Me and my husband, our teenage twins, two of their friends and our 2 dogs had the perfect getaway a Kuma's Kottage. First off, there was plenty of room with 3 bedrooms upstairs. The basement was very comfortable and roomy with additional bunk beds. We loved the outdoor shower and the fire pit. Overall the home was very clean and the property lush and inviting. We can't wait to go back

Kathy's house (Kuma's Kottage) had everything we wanted in a Cape Cod rental and more. The view of Wequaquet Lake was stunning and peaceful, and we enjoyed our early morning coffee and breakfast from the spacious screened porch. The house is centrally located so we were close to good shopping, restaurants, day trips to Martha's Vineyard and Plymouth and beautiful ocean beaches. The ability to walk to the lake beach for swimming was so appreciated by everyone, especially our kids. The house had plenty of space, a great kitchen, laundry, clean bathrooms and a lovely yard and fire pit to accommodate a multi generational family (4 adults and 2 teens). What a wonderful family vacation. We can't wait to return. show more show less

Perfect house-had everything we needed. So close to the lake! We stayed with another family (4 kids aged 2-6) -walked across the street to the house from the lake for snacks, naps, bathroom or just to relax on the porch. We did a fire pit at night and the kids watched movies in the basement before crashing on the bunk beds! Short drive to ocean beach and Hyannis too! Could not have asked for a better Cape experience!
