Welcome to the Silver Mermaid-your island getaway for a relaxing retreat. It is conveniently located within 1.5 miles between Edgartown center, South Beach and Morning Glory farm.

This cozy 2 bedroom & den, 1 1/2 half bath cottage offers all the comforts of home with a slight feel of Provence.
The kitchen is well equipped with an electric stove, toaster, oven and dishwasher and has glassware, cups, dishes, bowls, pots and pans.  Sliders to the deck lead to an outdoor dining area with a Weber grill and seating for 6 around a glass table with an umbrella.

The larger bedroom has a queen bed and ample armoire and en suite, petite half bath with a sliding barn door and window. The 2nd bedroom has a full size bed. Both will have fresh sheets and cotton bedspreads. Bedside lights for reading & ceiling fans are in place for your comfort. The den is furnished with a dresser and a futon for some extra private space.

A window A/C is provided in the 2nd bedroom and in the open living/dining to cool the indoors. The Indoor baths, (1 full and 1/2 in larger bedroom), have been recently updated with all new hardware, sinks and toilets.    The enclosed outdoor shower provides another space, au natural, to watch the stars or rinse off after a day at the beach.  

Sink into the hammock in the backyard for a rest or a read. Enjoy the front, landscaped gardens full of roses and flowers or watch the birds, hummingbirds and butterflies flutter amidst the trumpet vines and butterfly bushes. Beach umbrella, chairs and some toys are located in the beach shed.
