The Carriage House is located in quiet historic Cotuit overlooking the harbor, beach and Vineyard Sound. It is beautifully decorated in period furniture. Magnificent gardens and expansive lawns provide visual delights and croquet/bocci recreation for your off-beach time!
Beaches are within walking distance, including one with life guard protection. It's ideal for a couple or a family with up to two children. There are chaise lounges, a hammock and Adirondack chairs for your at-home relaxation. The private brick patio provides an outside dining area with table, roll-out shade and gas BBQ grill. The enclosed outside shower is fun for children and adults
Your full refrigerator and ice maker is located in the garage section in addition to the under the counter refrigerator. The washer and dryer are also located in the garage section. Air conditioning for bedrooms is available upon request.

Cotuit is a popular walking area along tree-lined streets and beautiful historic cape cod homes. There are a town dock, post office, restaurant, town playground and library within three blocks. Many activities and craft events occur throughout the summer at the Cotuit Common. A QEIII kayak for 2 adults and 2 children seats is available for usage across street from the Carriage House (renters use at own risk). Mid-afternoons, fishing boats deliver the day's catch to the Cotuit town dock; a fun place for children and adults to try local fishing. Two adult English-style bicycles are also available for your use; again at your own risk.
