Cotuit Info and area map
The Carriage House is located in quiet historic Cotuit overlooking harbor, beach and Vineyard Sound. It is beautifully decorated in period furniture. Magnificent gardens and expansive lawns provide visual delights and croquet/bocci recreation for your off-beach time!
Beaches are within walking distance, including one with life guard protection. It's ideal for a couple or a family with up to two children. There are chaise lounges, hammock and adirondack chairs for your at-home relaxation. The private brick patio provides an outside dining area with table, roll-out shade (not shown in picture) and gas grill. The enclosed outside shower is fun for children and adults.
A full refrigerator and ice maker are available in addition to the under the counter refrigerator. Air conditioning for bedrooms only is available upon request.

Cotuit is a popular walking area along tree-lined streets. There is a town dock, post office, restaurant, town playground and library within three blocks. Many activities and craft events occur throughout the summer at the Cotuit common. A QEIII kayak for 2 adults and 2 children seats is available across street from Carriage House (rentors use at own risk). Mid-afternoons fishing boats deliver the day's catch to the Cotuit town dock. A fun place for children and adults to try local fishing. |
