Historic antique home located one mile from Barnstable village with magnificent views of a pond and the great salt marshes. A short walk on our lovely country lane leads to the beach and pristine Barnstable harbor. This restored and beautifully furnished antique house offers a large kitchen, a living room with working fireplace, a formal dining room, extensive library, new bathrooms, an outside shower, and all the modern amenities. The living room has a large TV with full cable, a flat screen TV in the master bedroom, another TV upstairs, and high speed wireless internet. There is a charming attic playroom with ping pong table, games, costume trunk, and extra beds for those rainy days. The expansive yard has a brick patio, an 8 ft picnic table , grills (gas and charcoal), a big lawn for games, and plenty of outdoor seating. A path through a field with ancient stone walls leads to a pond with a dock, rowboat, and canoe for your use. There is also a small sandy beach for fresh water...

dipping.This is a BIG house perfect for reunions where everyone can spread out. The sunsets at this property are absolutely spectacular. We have many board games, lots of books, boogey boards, beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, bikes, volleyball, croquet and every type of ball you can imagine. This home is completely set up for summer enjoyment. Also included is a beach pass, which allows you access to the 14 beaches in the town of Barnstable.
Add $50.00 per person per night over 10 people.
We can accommodate more people but because of the age of the house we must make special arrangements for parties over 10.
