Come and enjoy the serenity and fun this lakefront cottage has to offer!

The cottage offers 2-bedrooms with an outdoor shower and half bathroom located on Lake Wequaquet (Centerville) in the beautiful and peaceful Cape Cod. Minutes away from many beaches, activities, shops and restaurants.

Our Location:
The cottage is located on Lake Wequaquet in the town of Barnstable with deeded rights to a nearby beach and it also has a private dock. Lake Wequaquet is a 654 acre lake in Barnstable County. Here you will be nestled in nature yet minutes away from any amenities you may need. The cottage is located right on the Bearse Pond portion of the lake which gives it a more private feel and is home to ducks, swans, turtles, fish, and loads of nature to enjoy.

Outdoor Space:
There is a deck that overlooks the lake that allows for outside seating and relaxing with an adjacent hammock area. There is a spacious outdoor shower, ample yard space, a canoe, kayaks, lifejackets, chairs, a fire pit, a gas and a charcoal grill.

In the Cottage:
The house has a full kitchen, a half bathroom with a toilet and sink area, a dining area and a living room area. The kitchen is small but is fully stocked dishes, cups, plates, cutlery, cookware, with a gas stove. The living room offers a 40+ inch smart TV, a futon, a desk area, linen cabinet, great internet and ample lighting. We also provide books, puzzles and games for all ages. We have kayaks, and a canoe plus life vests.

Bedroom 1 has a queen size bed, a fan, AC, and a dresser. Bedroom 2 has a bunkbed with a full, twin and trundle bed below along with AC. This cottage is great for family or friends who are used to staying together. It is also very peaceful and serene for a single person or couple who may need a space to work, play and get away from it all. The cottage is child friendly. We provide all linens and have plenty of towels. Bring water shoes and enjoy!

Note: The price per night is inclusive of the cleaning fee to make this experience as seamless as possible. Our required deposit which is to be returned to you within 15 days of your stay is a total of $500 and all details will be outlined in our rental lease. read more show less

    Tranquility at its best

    We loved every minute of our stay here. The close proximity to the water could not have been better, it was very easy to stay involved while the my guys were fishing. Close enough to shopping, Whole Foods, the mall, restaurants, and it's a pretty quick drive to the beach. but you're far enough from everything to enjoy peace and quiet. Beds were comfortable. rooms are small but cozy, kitchen had pretty much everything you need to prepare a meal, having a the grill was great and we made s'mores in fire pit in the evenings. The kayaks were great to have and we used them daily, We also took walks around the beautiful neighborhood. It's the perfect vacation spot if you'd like quiet and tranquility but close enough to things if you choose to go out. We will be back next year.
