We've been using WeNeedaVacation.com for 10+ years and stumbled across this gorgeous home 4 years ago. We have been renting from the Sandy and Don ever since! The location of this beautiful getaway is perfect— right on a tranquil pond that's home to ducks, fish and a graceful swan.

We enjoyed coffee and breakfast, dinner and wine with a backdrop of a stunning sunrise and sunset outside on the back deck overlooking Long Pond. The house has everything a family needs for fun— pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, BBQ grill, towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, beach chairs, beach pass, kayaks, life jackets, outdoor shower and so much more.

The house is spotless, close to a great beach and downtown Hyannis, and the owners are wonderful. We will not rent from anyone else! :) show more show less

We have finally found the place we will return to each year....absolute tranquility....very convenient to surrounding areas...beautiful beaches and included beach pass makes it easy to find a favorite.....but most of all the owners are great people...always available and attentive to your needs.....thanks for making this another perfect vacation

This house is the perfect spot for families who enjoy freshwater swimming and boating, and also want to to be close to the ocean and to Hyannis (our favorite town on the Cape). It has all the amenities you could ask for in a summer home, including AC, three cable TVs, a warm outdoor shower, and a fully stocked kitchen. I cook a lot, and always found what I needed, even bakeware. If you like to grill, that's covered too, with a big wellkept grill on the deck overlooking the pond. The master bedroom is a treat - right on the water with a quality king-size bed - and my mother-in-law was just as comfortable in the second bedroom. Our teenagers loved having a floor to themselves - a cozy family room with a big sleeper sofa and (of course) their own TV. The owners were were a pleasure to deal with, and even brought over a brand new TV the day after we told them that the one downstairs wasn't working. This was one of the most relaxing places we have stayed on Cape Cod. Nothing can beat waking up each morning and having coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. Very quiet surroundings, house was very clean on arrival. House was large and comfortable enough for 2 adults, 2 teenage girls and our small dog who is usually unsettled for a few days when we are away but right away he acted as if this was his own home. House is convenient to the beach, downtown Hyannis and Rte 28. Definitely a place we would come back to. show more show less

We have stayed at this home twice. It is a very nice location - close to the beach and downtown Hyannis,walking distance to Four Seas, the best ice cream on the Cape. It was really nice having the lake in the backyard which was great for my two small children. The owners are very nice and the home is kid friendly with a highchair and pack and play available (saves trunk space!) It is a good home base.
