Quaint Cottage w/ Attached Guesthouse-Walk to the Beach!

We have stayed in New Seabury many times, and this was one of our best weeks! The owners are a pleasure to work with and were helpful, informative and communicative and easy to reach before, during and after our visit as well. The cottage accommodated our family of 6 just beautifully! The cottage itself was sparkling clean, has plenty of indoor and outdoor spaces for everyone, and is outfitted with games for those down times. We absolutely loved riding bikes around New Seabury and kayaking to the Spit, thanks to the kayaks and bikes provided at the house. The Spit is a beautiful beach with lots of shells and marine life to explore, making the cottage's location just perfect! Thanks for a wonderful stay! show more show less

Leslie's home was an ideal getaway in a lovely location. The home was so clean, had more than everything we needed, including beach chairs, games etc etc. The bunk/bungalow section of the home felt like a fun hideaway for our kids, and provided peaceful moments for the adults; as did the large yard, fire pit, and sitting areas outside. We also loved doing puzzles on the porch while bunnies and birds went by. Beaches were close and convenient, and the little village shops up the street were so much fun! show more show less

Beautiful home in quaint peaceful neighborhood. Only a ten minute walk to the beach and a quick stroll to kayak/paddle board drop off area. Walking distance to the Poppy market place and raw bar for the adults while the kids enjoy outside entertainment. This vacation home is a find, definitely will be returning next year. Thanks to John and Leslie for being great hosts!

What a lovely and quaint home. It sits in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, a short drive away from many attractions, beaches, and shopping and arts areas. There was plenty of room for our family of five (three teenagers). The home is relaxing, clean, and provides all the space you need. The screened in porch was particularly enjoyable on a summer's evening.

Leslie was wonderful and made sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything. Excellent experience all around.

I'll start by saying that I've been vacationing with my family to Popponesset for the past 6 years and this is the first time we stayed at this house and definitely not the last! The pictures don't show how peaceful and serene the house, yard and neighborhood are! We enjoyed the fire pit and large screened-in porch at night and during the day we could walk to the beach or walk a few houses down to launch our paddle board and kayaks. One day when there was no current, we paddled to the spit where the kids caught crabs and small fish. Just over the bluffs is a large, beautiful beach that is never crowded and the water is always warm. The spit and the beach is also very walkable from the house. Also located very close to the house is Poppy Marketplace--small shops and restaurants are connected via paths of crushed shells. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast there as well as lobster rolls at the raw bar later in the evenings. The kids enjoyed dancing to the live music, ice cream and mini golf.

The house has all the amenities you could possibly need to enjoy a wonderful beach vacation. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms clean and updated. The outdoor shower is amazing! My older kids slept on the bunk beds in the guest house and my dad slept in the adjacent room. I slept with my 2 year old in a pack-n-play in the main house. I never felt like my older kids were too far away from me at night and they loved that they had their own space. The 2 spaces are connected by a breezeway and there are solar lights to light the path at night. The house has all the comforts and amenities you could possibly need. There are extra blankets, all the kitchen utensils you could think of, plus a Keurig coffee maker. The central AC is so nice! The shed is packed with beach items such as beach chairs, beach toys. Ask about using the kayaks!

The entire house is lovingly cared for and beautifully decorated. You can tell that the owners truly love this house. Leslie and John are extremely responsive and helpful and clearly want their renters to have an amazing vacation--which we did! I would highly recommend this house to my friends and can't wait to return!! show more show less

This perfect Cape escape has all you need to keep the kids happy and the adults rejuvenated. Beaches everywhere . Beautiful area full of summer activities or just quiet beauty to take in.

This property is a gem I would recommend and surely return to again
