Catch the sunset on Craigville Beach, or take a walk to the iconic Hyannis Port, home of the infamous Kennedy Compound. Here are just some of the many fun things I enjoy doing on my Cape Escapes, while including all the comfort of a family home:

- 3 min. drive to private Covell Beach or large public Craigville Beach (both free with pass). 20 mins. walking.
- Go for a bike ride around the quiet neighborhood or explore the Cape (4 bikes included for use).
- Grab a bite at the vibrant Hyannis Main St., with award winning restaurants, full of fine/casual dining, ice cream & fun shops. The JFK Museum is a quaint visit to the Kennedy archives. (4 min. drive).
- ''Take a hike'' at Hathaway Pond, with a 1 mile lap around the pond. Take a dip in the crystal clear water at the end. Location is dog friendly (10 min. drive).
- Check the Veteran's Memorial, right next to Veterans & Kalmus Beaches.
- Head to the ferry for a day trip to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard.
- Rendezvous to the cute & historic town center of Barnstable for a coffee at Nirvana Coffee Shop, grab local goods at Barnstable market, breakfast at the Buttercup Cafe, walking into historical New England.
- Explore any other of the beaches & lakes for FREE with Resident Beach Pass to be purchased online at the Town of Barnstable website.

At our cozy home:
- Read a book or have a coffee on the patio, with the singing birds.
- Enjoy the private & fully fenced-in yard with kids, furry or non.
- BBQ & dinner on the large deck, or boil some lobsters.
- Fully stocked kitchen to handle family & guest needs.
- Smoke up some smores on the fire pit.
- Play some ping pong on the regulation pong table in the outdoor shed.
