Located in the historic village of Centerville, the Coachman's Rest is a restored carriage barn located behind the main house (Mildoc's) built circa 1875 by Captain Joseph Crowell. Just one mile from beautiful Craigville Beach and a short distance to the village library, Historical Society, 4 Seas Ice Cream, and the 1856 Country Store.
Relax on the screened porch overlooking the wooded back yard or fill your days with sightseeing. We are located within 3 miles of sandwich shops, family dining, fine dining or you be the grill master. Golf courses, mini-golf, movies, charter fishing, scenic railroad, ferry boats to the islands, whale watching, and shopping are all close by.
There is a town boat landing close by, perfect for a canoe, kayak, or to trailer a boat. Beach pass is included.

Very enjoyable stay at the cottage! Since we were traveling a good distance by plane, Ellen was very gracious and provided us with beach chairs/cooler to use. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and we LOVED the outdoor shower! Good location and would highly recommend Sandy Neck Beach. Thanks Ellen for a great week on the Cape!
