Nestled in the highly desirable location of Sandwich is this charming home. It provides the perfect vacation spot for any couple or family looking to experience the classic Cape Cod getaway.

As soon as you pull into the driveway and step out of the car, the salty fresh air hits you. The home has amazing views from every room but is also rather private with existing trees. Sit on the front porch and take in the smell of the salty ocean air, or relax on the large back porch and take in the amazing views of the ever-changing marsh. For those who enjoy bird watching, this property is incredible!

The first-floor living room and the kitchen are sun-filled and airy. We just recently installed Central A/C to keep you comfortable during the hottest of summer days. It is tastefully decorated and provides plenty of space for families to gather to have family meals, relax in front of the flat-screen TV, or play board games. The kitchen flows right off the living room and provides everything you need to stay at home and prepare fresh meals. If you aren’t up for cooking, just venture a few minutes down the street to Main Street where you will find excellent restaurants and cafes. The first floor also provides a large bedroom complete with a new king mattress, along with a full bathroom right outside the door. Also on the first floor is a laundry room with a washer and dryer and coffee station.

As you follow the staircase to the second floor, you turn left and enter the huge second bedroom complete with a new king mattress and peaceful views of the marsh and creek right outside the window. Lounge in the sitting area by the windows and enjoy the ever-changing tides of the marsh. The third bedroom is the largest of the bedrooms, complete with two new queen-sized mattresses, bedding, and pillows. You can see directly to Cape Cod Bay from this bedroom and observe ships entering the canal. There is ample storage in each bedroom and the second bathroom completes the second floor.

This cute Sandwich gem is located .4 miles to Boardwalk Beach and a short drive to Town Neck Beach. You can also launch the two kayaks directly from the backyard and make your way down mill creek to the beach. Under the house is my 6-year-old's favorite spot as there are Tonka trucks galore to play amongst the sand.

We have two Kayaks on premises and beach towels. You can launch the kayaks right from the back yard. Bring any additional beach accessories you feel are needed. It is a one minute walk to the Sandwich boardwalk, where you can jump in at high tide. Right now the boardwalk is closed after you pass the portion to jump off, plans are in the works to either rebuild the damaged portion or have a pontoon boat this summer shuttle folks from the boardwalk to the bay side beach. You can still access the beach by Kayak or by Town Neck Beach, which you would drive to. It is about a 5 minute walk to downtown Sandwich for restaurants and shopping. Under the house is a kids dream as my 6 year old has all his trucks under the house where he plays in the sand with them.

This house is in the process of undergoing a renovation which includes: new kitchen cabinets, counter, backsplash, appliances, and tiled floor, updating both bathrooms, paint throughout, new light and plumbing fixtures, adding first-floor laundry, new outdoor shower, new outdoor patio sitting area and adding to the current landscaping. Also, new furniture will be brought in to finish off the renovation.
