Within minutes from the home you will find the Sandwich Marina, the Cape Cod Canal with bike paths and visitors station, spectacular restaurants, the little shops of historic Sandwich village, the Cape Cod Scenic Railroad Station, and much, much more.
There is nothing worse than waking up during a hot night to a loud window air conditioning unit clanking to keep you cool. The renovation in 2009/2010 included a favorite of summer guests, whisper quiet Central Air Conditioning throughout the home.

In addition to Central AC, the house has wireless high-speed internet, HD flat screen cable TV, outside shower, new carpeting, 2 fireplaces, front porch with picnic table, gas grille, Adirondack chairs, chaise loungers, beach toys and much much more. All new appliances highlight the kitchen including a K-Cup coffee maker to appeal to the iced or hot coffee or tea lover in your group. The first floor bedrooms include one queen bedroom and a bedroom with twin trundle beds and a loveseat. The second floor bedrooms contain a double bed each with a queen sofabed in the living room. The home has 2 bathrooms and a unique layout with the living room being on the 2nd floor taking advantage of the great views from the deck. A flower garden and fenced in back yard and ample guest parking are also featured.Amenities include:

See ships and boats entering and leaving the Cape Cod Canal and enjoy a wonderful water view of Cape Cod Bay including the cliffs of Plymouth and the Cape's bay coastline as you pass the time relaxing on the upstairs deck. This home is tastefully decorated and just a short walk to a private beach in the Town Neck/Boardwalk Beach area and is minutes away from historic Sandwich Village, the Heritage Plantation, many restaurants including waterfront dining, antiquing, movies, the marina, fishing, hiking and biking trails, etc. and is sure to please. We have loved our stay here for 2 years running. The house is immaculate and so well supplied. The property is centrally located and the view from the upstairs deck is wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. We are looking forward to year #3 in 2012. Thanks to the owners for all they do to make us welcome and comfortable.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would Extremely well kept and clean property in a convenient area. Great view of the water from upper deck. Walking distance to the beach. No problems with any of the appliances, a/c,internet or cable. Very nice get away place from DC area.

Great summer retreat I rented 34 Carmen with my family. It is a nice home and very accessible to shopping, Board Walk Beach, and just about anything else you want to do in Sandwich. The owners were great and very welcoming. Sand Dollar made the rental process very easy.

"Fantastic 2 weeks" Doesn't get any better than sitting out on the deck early evening with drinks and looking out to the sunset and ocean!!! So many amenities. They make you feel right at home. Since we were there in a heatwave the a/c was a real plus. Lots of places to walk. Beautiful area. Wonderful owners
