Description

Description

The Village at the Moor, Unit A, is is an upscale three bedroom townhouse with fabulous views of the Moors, Herring Cove Beach dunes and the Cape Cod Bay. It's stylish and high end, but it's also homey. It's a place that you can kick back in, perched overlooking in one of the most gorgeous places in Ptown. It's also ''socially distanced'' from downtown, with big sky, wide views, fresh breezes. No need to go anywhere else in this challenging time. Lovely walks and swimming in the salt marsh across the street are perfect activities.

There is parking for two cars with the townhouse. The townhome provides an unparalleled view of the dunes, moors, bay and big sky of the west end of Provincetown. Great blue herons, waterfowl and other bird life abound.

Central air conditioning and hardwood floors keep it cool, and granite countertops and stainless steel appliances create a perfect dining setting. Comfort is uppermost in our minds. All beds have duvets and luxurious pillows

In this ''upside-down'' floor plan, designed to maximize the view, the great room(living room/kitchen/dining area) shares the second floor with the master bedroom and bath. There is also a loft above the second floor queen ensuite bedroom with an additional king mattress. The second floor deck has views through the dunes to the Bay.

There are two additional spacious and light king bedrooms, one with a private sun deck, and a full bath on the first floor of the townhouse. There is a full size washer and dryer in the basement area, which is an additional space. There Comcast TV, Wifi and a landline.

This special spot is on the edge of the National Seashore and at the intersection of Provincelands Road and Bradford Street Extension, and is full of variety, nature and views. Take a walk across the Breakwater, or hop on your bike and hit the trails. Take a dip in the pool at the Provincetown Inn(200 yards away, ....drinks and grill food available....they encourage it). Put your kayak in the water 200 yards down the road and paddle out into the harbor. Walk or bike to stunning Herring Cove Beach...it's so close.
At the end of the day, enjoy a beverage on the elevated deck as the sun dips below the dunes and the last diehards walk/bike back from the beach. Walk or bike a mile up Commercial Street to Town Center. Later, stroll the 1 mile back down Commercial Street, or catch the shuttle back and finish the night by gazing at the evening sky..... Each month has different events. Late May has Memorial Day, early/mid June has Pride Week and the Provincetown Film festival. The Summer season boasts weekly

Village at the Moors, Unit A, is the perfect combination of quiet, 'edge-ness'' and activity. Runners, bikers, kayakers and beach-goers all pass by your doorstep and the dunes, bay and sunset are all in your sight line.

From what our previous guests tell us, any from our own off-season stays, we're sure you'll love this place and we're sure you'll be back.

We have renewed our subscription to weneedavacation because we feel that it is an ethical company that does not gouge its customers through inflated booking fees, which are charged to the guests.

Cheers,

Ned Bradford and Itzik Kamhine

The best home away from home there is

I love Ned's place. The interior is modern and stylish, with enough artwork and touches to feel like home. The exterior has several decks to take in the fantastic views. The spacious patio was perfect for entertaining friends that were also in town. The location was perfect for me. Just outside of the action but close enough to participate.

Come for the View, Stay for.... the View!

Sorry to be redundant, but the amazing, ever-changing views of the West End Salt Marsh is truly the most remarkable thing about this lovely house. Perched on the wonderfully appointed deck, we lounged, read, ate and happy-houred our way to true relaxation. Die-hard beach people though we are, we almost didn't feel the need to go to the beach (or anywhere!!) with a deck this perfect. The home itself is cozy, comforting, beautifully furnished with a great, well-appointed kitchen where we cooked dinner almost every night. Thanks Ned and Itzik for sharing your very special home-we can't wait to come back!!! show more show less

Space to breathe inside and out

The location of this condo awarded us with a quiet, coastal experience with the choice of how much activity we wanted to share with others as Covid restrictions opened up around the country. The moors, bike path, beaches and walks were all in our backyard. Glorious.
We walked or biked into the center of town so easily when we wanted to shop and eat.

The condo has a wonderful sense of spaciousness based on the layout of rooms and the upside down design of living room and kitchen upstairs where the windows let summer light in and views of the moors in front of you. The renovation of the kitchen is beautiful. The unit was so well appointed that we wanted for nothing.

This review would be incomplete without describing how professional yet friendly Ned was to work with as I changed dates and asked questions. Truly a gem.

We thoroughly loved this vacation home and hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Moor's Edge. The views of the moors and the dunes are spectacular; the late afternoon light and the views of the setting sun are breathtaking. The location is perfect, with easy access to restaurants and town, but adjacent to the natural wonders of Provincetown. The townhouse is lovely and spacious, elegantly appointed and yet homey and comfortable at the same time. Beds and bedding were very comfortable, storage space was plentiful, and everything was pristine and clean. We did a lot of cooking while there and the kitchen was stocked with everything one could need. Check-in was easy and parking was easy and convenient, right at the main entrance. Even visiting in the winter the decks and outside spaces were lovely, with spectacular views. The hosts were wonderful, responsive and friendly, with thoughtful touches that made our holiday stay even more special. We can't wait to visit again!

We had a delightful time at Ned's place. It was very spacious, clean, and welcoming. Check-in process was extremely easy and Ned was easy to reach the whole time. While the place is relatively far from the main center of town, it was quiet, beautiful views of the sunset from the upper balcony, and when we did walk into town it really was an easier walk than expected. Would highly recommend!!

    Awesome Stay in Ptown!
Ned was a great host. The views from the balcony are amazing. We spent every morning on the balcony. His condo has all the comforts of a home and we would definately stay there again.

    Feels like home

I've had the pleasure of staying at Ned and Itzik's over the years in every season. Each unit is always clean and impeccably decorated. They are always updating and upgrading. You should see the new kitchen in Unit B. Magnificent. Communication is always easy and timely. Staying at Ned and Itzik's place is like coming home. Warm, wonderful, and an easy walk to the middle of town. Highly recommended.

It doesn't get better than this!

They had to force us out (not really). We had such a perfect week in this rental. Amazing location, out of the hectic scene but a lovely walk to the heart of it all. Beautiful sunsets out on the deck, very clean and modern, carefully decorated, lots of open space indoors for lounging and a great kitchen. Owners are super helpful and friendly. Please don't rent this; we want it all for ourselves.

"What a wonderful place!!! During my first visit I came as someone's guest and I knew that I had to return, which I did. I loved the view, the tranquility and the close proximity to all the action. The place is clean, nicely decorated, beds are super comfortable and the owners are extremely nice. I highly recommend this place. Madeline"

Ned and Itzik have been hosting guests for 15 years in this home on the edge of the National Seashore. They both work at small colleges in the Boston area and love the scenic beauty. Lots of vacationers have enjoyed this 3 BR home as their base of operations as they've enjoyed the quirky beauty of Commercial street, the stunning beaches of Herring Cove and Race Point and the unparalleled view from the porches and second floor deck.

What is special about this property?
For those who want access to the town center, but who might want a little distance from the madness, this is a perfect fit. A 15 minute walk will get you to Town Hall, and a 20 minute walk will get you to Herring Cove Beach. The west facing unobstructed views from the second floor deck are wonderful, with sunsets and tide changes every day.

The interior of the townhouse is very comfortable, with a nod to the mid-century. Great beds and two fully appointed bathrooms, complement a great living room, kitchen and dining table that can expand to comfortably seat 10. Constantly upgrading the home, this winter we've renovated the kitchen and added an outside patio.

What is special about your town?
Provincetown offers something for everyone! Great restaurants, shopping, shows, bars, clubs, museums, whale watches and theme weeks make Commercial Street the most fun town on the East Coast. People are friendly and accepting, regardless of who you are! During Covid, visitors and locals were all masked and there were lots of outside options for dining. As the pandemic begins to fade, the town will resume normal activities.
