East End Sea Shanty w/AC Walk to Beach or Town

We really did not want to leave. Everything about the East End Sea Shanty was just perfect! We stay in PTown every year - usually closer to town center - and so this location was different for us. It turned out to be a perfect change-up and one we will stay with going forward. This property is in a beautiful location and still excellently convenient to the bay beach (right across the street), which is always a nice way to spend all or part of a lazy day, and a pleasant walk (or pedi-cab) to the center / west end.. The front deck is even more inviting than it looks in the photos and gets the morning sun. The house is immaculate (always important) and well equipped. We even cooked dinner one night (not our usual habit on vacation) and we enjoyed cooking in that kitchen. Ticks the boxes for a great bed and a great shower (always top of my list) Great parking on site is a real plus. The host was super friendly and easy to work with. Please don't try to book our weeks - East End Sea Shanty is our new annual destination. show more show less

This is a long overdue review for our Sept 2021 stay at the EESS. What a great place! The owners are very responsive and do everything they can to ensure a comfortable stay. The "shanty" feels well cared for, is well-equipped and nicely decorated, with enough room to have a couple of friends over to hang out either inside or outside on one of the two decks. The location was very quiet on a mid-September weekend; the only time we were awakened by noise was on trash pickup day. Easy access to the bay beach (with supplied beach chairs) right across the road, a 20-25 minute walk to the center of town, and an easy stroll to Angel Foods to pick up necessities make this a perfect location. (We parked our car out front but only used it once or twice to head to the beach.)

There is so much to truly appreciate about the East End Sea Shanty! The owner is responsive, welcoming, and a delight to communicate with about the rental. We loved how the condo brims with incredible style, attention to detail, and pure comfort. A quiet enjoyment greeted us each day with the beautiful front deck garden and Suzanne's Garden close by. The amenities abound at this super clean property and its location was perfect for access to the public beach and town. All this made for a relaxing and memorable time to enjoy a favorite family destination. show more show less

If you're looking for the perfect getaway to relax, recharge, and take in the rugged and stunning Outer Cape, look no further than the East End Sea Shanty. This beautiful home is well-appointed, spotless, and comfortable. The location to the beach cannot be beat and not having to lug beach stuff around is worth the stay on its own. We walked downtown and to the West End with ease, but were always happiest on the porch with a summer drink and snack, enjoying the sunsets after a walk on the beach. That may sound cliche, but it's just the truth. The homeowner was responsive and kind! She had some great recommendations for us during our stay. The shanty is so peaceful and I cannot recommend it enough. Enjoy this gem in Ptown! show more show less
