Veteran's Beach and the Yacht Club is 1/10 of a mile away. Veteran's Beach has a roped off area with a lifeguard for swimming. Veteran's Beach also has a picnic area with permanent grills for outdoor cooking. A half mile away is Main Street which has a number of speciality shops, miniature golf, merry-go-round, and many restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
