We were overjoyed that the house was able to accommodate our 4 grandchildren and being close to kid friendly beaches with a lifeguard. There is a place to buy food at the beach and the house provided beach chairs and kids toys. The views from the deck were beautiful.

We enjoyed our week at your Cape Cod house and are looking forward to next year.

The house was clean when we arrived which was very nice for my wife and I. My brother and his family went with us and it was very spacious and the kids loved the bedrooms and the beach toys that were at the rental. There was an upstairs family room with a tv, which was great for the kids, and the adults could stay on the main floor, which was great. The kitchen was big and it opened to the dining room which was nice because we could talk to everyone while we cooked.

The two beaches were perfect. Kalmus Beach was very close and had bathrooms and a snack bar which was great for the kids. Veterans Beach was a minute away and had barbecue grills and a roped area for swimming with a life guard. A constant breeze came through the windows because we are so close to the ocean, but air conditioners were in the windows if we needed them. There was WiFi in the house which made it easy for all our laptops and tablets to check e-mail, and our kids could watch movies that they liked. The adults could watch the movies we wanted to watch on the DVD player in the family room. The owners were very nice and answered all our questions. show more show less

The exceptional location of this property cannot be overstated. Make a left turn out of the house and you are at Veteran's Beach in under 5 minutes, even when carrying a two-year-old uncooperative toddler. Make a right turn, and you are at Kalmus Beach in 5 minutes. We would drive to the beach to unload chairs, etc,. and the driver could return before the umbrellas were set up. Honestly. We never had to pay the $15 parking fee because you are allowed to drop off without a charge. Additionally, the walk to town and Main Street could not be easier with many nearby restaurants even before reaching Main Street.
The house is as described with plenty of room. We had 4 families with a total of 6 children ranging in age from 1 to 9, and we had plenty of space. The TVs in most rooms made for nice down time activity.
We made extensive use of the washer dryer and even when running , we never had to wait for the water to get hot in the bathrooms..

We had a great time . The fourteen of us could all eat together in the dining area.

The owners could not be nicer to deal with.

Had a great time - house was much bigger than what we thought it would be...used for a mini family reunion and graduation party. Our two favorite things: 1. We didn't realize there were no other houses on the left (as you look at the house). We liked the privacy and the views from the back deck - ocean and marsh area are beautiful. We actually had 18 people sleeping in the house and it didn't feel crammed. 2. We didn't have to drive anywhere. We could just grab the beach chairs from the back deck and walk to the beach.
