I rented this lovely home for a girls getaway long weekend for myself and 2 friends in April 2023. The home was absolutely perfect for us. Super comfortable beds, nice linens, enough space to relax and work (solid WIFI and TV options). It's a great, central location for travelling around the Cape. We went to the National Seashore, Provincetown and back into Boston for a Red Sox game. The owners were super helpful with prompt with suggestions for food and activities and itineraries. For our first family trip as a family of three, we brought our 7 month old baby to Edelweiss by the Sea! This was a perfect spot for us and included a pack n play and a high chair we could use (leaving us space in our sedan for our other things!). The rooms are beautifully decorated and I slept deeply each night on the comfortable bed. The kitchen is spacious and well-stocked as we prepared many meals ourselves. The bathroom is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed showers there (and outside since the weather was nice enough!). The back deck was a quiet, enjoyable, space for sitting and reading in the afternoon.

We took several walks to the nearby Eugenia Fortes beach and drove a couple of minutes to Main Street in Hyannis. It was fun to be so close to SO many things (including Cape Cod Beer, and a Trader Joe's and Target for things we needed throughout the week).

Kaitlin's communication was incredible and she made every effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will be back! show more show less

We'd like to compliment the owners on their lovely home. It was very clean and comfortable to stay in. The house was our home base for the week as we visited many of the neighboring towns and beaches. I have recommended this rental to others for their future vacation plans. We will certainly be back.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this lovely home in Hyannis. The accommodation was nicely appointed, extremely clean, and conveniently located to both beaches and other assorted cape activities. From our initial communication with the homeowner to our final checkout the entire experience was wonderful.

I would highly recommend Edelweiss by the Sea for anyone looking for a rental on this part of the Cape.

We greatly enjoyed our time at this home - it was very comfortable and Kaitlin is an A+ host who made everything completely seamless from booking to post-stay 'move out'. Its obvious that a lot of thought goes into making this home work for folks visiting the Cape, especially those visiting with small kids.

We'd definitely stay there again any time we're near Hyannis.

This place is beautiful and in such a great location! Close to so many beaches, restaurants, shopping… Kaitlin was amazing to work with and very helpful! She went out of her way to make sure our visit was fabulous. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Highly recommend!!

With a much needed family break, we all had the best time at Edelweiss by the Sea! Kaitlin was so fast and responsive to help answer any questions and gave great recommendations for family friendly activities and restaurants in the area.

The house was equipped with all the essentials for littles with a pack n play, toddler rails, bunk beds, plenty of toys and high chairs. The location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood with a fully fenced in yard so the kids can run around and play. It is also within walking distance to multiple beaches. We spent days at the beach soaking up the sun, and nights cuddled up watching movies together.

Let's not forget the plethora of great food and shopping up and down main street! The kids also loved the pirate adventure! The fun boat ride and games played on deck put the biggest smile on their faces.

I highly recommend planning your stay at Edelweiss by the Sea, it is a true gem. A week spent at this beautiful house was an absolute blast! show more show less

This lovely vacation home exceeded our expectations! We really feel that we lucked out in booking this home for our stay on Cape Cod. The house was beautiful, clean, spacious, and in a nice quiet neighborhood.

The location was perfect, as it is close to many different beaches, restaurants, and activities! We were here with our 2 sons (ages 6 and 3) and they especially loved the bunk beds, toys, and games left for them to play with during our stay. Kaitlin really thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and provided a true home away from home.

In addition to all of this, Kaitlin was an excellent hostess and an absolute pleasure to deal with from the very beginning. She always had a quick response for any questions we had and was willing to help out in any way possible. She even sent us a list of great kids' activities to do with our children and sent a few check in texts to make sure all was going smoothly.

What a lovely home base for exploring Cape Cod! We were here with the kids and the grandparents and can't have had a better place to come back to at the end of the day, rinse off in the outside shower, play board games with the littles, or cook together in the spacious open kitchen/dining area. While the town can get busy, this cozy house is on a very quiet street, except for all the birds that offer quite the soundtrack to relax and unwind.

Plenty to do nearby or just a short drive if you want to check out the ocean beaches (pro tip if you are a veteran or have a National Park Service pass you park free at the beaches!) We went surfing, fishing, hiking and definitely didn't even begin to scratch the surface of the Cape!

To top it all off, Kaitlin was the most responsive, kind and welcoming host I have ever experienced— and we have stayed at many vacation properties around the world. Truly a good human being and I'm sure we'll keep in touch. show more show less

I've been staying in hotels for 30 years around the country and in Hyanis for number of years as well. I made a lucky and last minute book with Kaitlin. Although my family was not with me on this trip it exceeded all expectations. Everything was pristine, quiet, and comfortable. Newly renovated inside with a fresh feel throughout.
I really didn't need a thing but Kaitlin was available for anything needed and open to comments. This was close to downtown Hyanis and a 5 minute drive to beach. Loved staying there! show more show less
