My wife and I stayed here for just over a week in July with our two kids aged 7 and 5. The house is in a great location, 5 minutes’ walk to Main Street and only about a minute’s drive from a great beach. The house itself has everything you could want. The cable TV and high-speed Wi-Fi were great for the kids when they needed a bit of down time. There was also a selection of toys and games for them to play with. The kitchen in well-equipped and the location of the iron and ironing board is dainty. The house also has beach chairs for all the family and with the beach pass provided, there simply no excuse to not spending plenty of time down at the beach. While there are many beaches in the area that the pass covers, we didn't stray past the one at the end of the road. Apart from the 4th of July, the beach was nice and quiet and really safe for the small ones to swim in. The bonus of having all the towels in the house you need also was a huge plus. I really can't think of any negatives about this house. It is the perfect holiday rental and Carolyn was great to deal with.

As we travelled from Ireland, this holiday was a little further than we usually travel and we were really hoping that it would be a special one. This house didn't disappoint. I look forward to one day returning to Hyannis and I won't even waste my time looking for another property, I'm just going to go straight for this one. If you’re lucky enough to book this property, you won't be disappointed.

This is the first beach house I've ever rented, and I wish I did sooner! Having a home to stay in rather than a hotel is so much more comfortable and convenient. The home is clean, super close to downtown shops and restaurants, and a short walk to the beach. The home comes with beach towels and chairs so you don't have to worry about packing all of that stuff with you. The only downfall was that I was so comfortable I felt like I was right at home except without my cat! We're already looking forward to planning another trip up to the Cape. show more show less

I am a single mom who took my 3 teens to the Cape for a few days and stayed in this lovely cottage. It was sweet and charming and had everything we needed, plenty of towels, extra blankets, kitchenware and a grill. It's in a great spot, very close to Main St Hyannis so everything is in walking distance- the beach is maybe a half mile the other way. There is a big TV and AC as well, so we were very comfortable. I hope to go back again.

We were able to book this cottage only 2 days before our arrival due to another renter's cancellation, and Carolyn was more than accommodating to us and our schedule. When we arrived she told us there was a problem with the grill and they'd have it replaced the next day, which they did. Plenty of towels, blankets, and kitchen supplies. Though the listing suggests it as possible, we didn't think walking to Keyes Beach was really a good option for us what with two small kids and all the beach gear we'd need, so having the included beach pass was a fantastic amenity for the days we drove to Covell Beach. The very close proximity to Main Street was great for walks into town, which we did every day or night. We were also close enough to the harbor to walk there as well. The bathroom and dining area in the kitchen are very small, but it suited our needs for the time we were there. Adorable and clean rental with wonderful, easy-to-work-with owners. Cottage is in a great location to walk to Main Street in Hyannis for stores and restaurants, which we went to numerous times. I also liked that we could walk to the harbor for the free concerts, ferries to the Islands (we went to the Vineyard) and restaurants. It's wonderful to have the beach pass - we went to Covell Beach and Craigville Beach - loved both. Carolyn is great to work with - she let us in early and let us check out a bit later. Beds are very comfortable.
