I am now retired from teaching high school and work as a Staff Photographer for a new local newspaper, The Provincetown Independent. I have a passion for nautical photography and spend lots of my time on the water photographing sailing events from Newport, CA to Newport, RI. Love photographing events for Yachting Times International Magazine. My husband who works at the harbor and I love to meet new people and are always available to answer our renters questions about Truro, restaurants, and things to do! We have been renting properties here in Truro for several years. Most of our renters return to our properties year after year and are treated like family.

What is special about this property?
The Salty Mermaid is new construction. It's all decorated in a mermaid theme and offers many extras. The best thing about it is that if you walk to the end of our driveway, hold your hand up, the shuttle bus that goes to PTown will stop and pick you up outside and bring you back to the same spot. I believe it runs until 11 pm. It comes by the Salty Mermaid every hour. Be at the end of the driveway 15 minutes before the hour and flag the driver down. The cost is $2; seniors $1.

Our home is located on the road that goes to Coast Guard Beach (1.8 miles) and Highland Links Golf Course. We have 11 beautiful beaches here in this small quaint town. Truro has lots of openness and expansive beaches so you will be able to keep a distance from other families visiting the beach. The home is sanitized between rentals by the owners and sanitizing products are available on the premises. Newly constructed garage is detached, but not available for renters. Coming soon...a gravel/seashell driveway!

What is special about your town?
Truro is one of the least developed towns on the Cape. Eleven beautiful beaches and lots of land owned by National Seashore make it one of the best towns to visit. It's the real Cape! We are located minutes from Provincetown and Wellfleet where you can enjoy shopping, galleries, restaurants and then return to the quietness of Truro w/it's beautiful beaches and sand dunes! Highland Links Golf Course is up the road and we are a few min. drive from Truro Vineyards where you can enjoy wine outside at one of their many fire pits. A weekly Farmer's Market is available during the summer months. Minutes from Montanos Restaurant (great takeouts) and Captain's Table (another takeout favorite place to go). We feel so safe here in Truro during the pandemic as we have expansive beaches and lots of places to enjoy takeouts for those craving lobsters and more!!!
