Pleasantly surprised by spacious 2nd floor kitchen/living room/outdoor deck. 1st floor featured 3 bedrooms with three double beds. One of the bedrooms was larger master bedroom. Only downfall was unit could only be accessed from second floor requiring climb of outside stairway. Good exercise but after a week it took a toll on my bad back. Also, indoors we had to take inside stairway to bedrooms to sleep and change and prepare for dinners and nights out. Overall, quite satisfied as the exercise was actually what was needed. This cottage was recently updated. All new flooring and freshly painted walls which significantly brighten the cottage. In addition, the kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated too! The deck is on the second level which puts it in the trees providing privacy from other cottages. Kitchen is well equipped along with a charcoal grill on the deck. Every room has a fan and the beds were comfortable. I would rent this cottage again.

This secluded "treehouse" cottage (w/reverse arrangement in having the main living area on the second floor) provided privacy and shade on the large second-floor front deck, and the light and airy living room and kitchen with its pretty coastal decor had a relaxing vacation feel. The bedrooms on the ground floor were smallish but fine, and the air exchangers in the downstairs hallway prevented any potential mustiness. They also served as white noise in helping reduce noise transfer from the living room upstairs to the sleeping areas below (the floor between is a little thin and sound traveled easily). We were disappointed to learn that the pool pictured on the web site was not operational - and may never be -and this might factor into a decision to return; but of course access to the beaches close by provides plenty of sun and water time! We were surprised to learn that the Truro beach passes mentioned in the ad were a hefty $100 per car per week additional cost, something we were unprepared for. This information up front would have been helpful to have. We loved the central location to our favorite spots and discovered a few more! show more show less

Very clean, updated kitchen and bathroom. Updated floors. It was our 2 nd year renting and the updated areas were great. I like the air recirculating system.

This cottage is clean and comfortable and could not be better in terms of location and access to the beautiful bay and sea beaches of Truro. PTown is only 15 minutes away. We had six of us including 2 teens and loved the 3 downstairs rooms each with AC and fans and decent mattresses.

The kitchen is well stocked with all the essential plates/silverware/pans/ etc but both the oven and BBQ were not very clean. Even so, we would stay there again. We miss a washer and dryer and dishwasher but we made do without. show more show less
