Description

A cozy, comfortable cottage in a N. Truro waterfront condo association. Enjoy this private beach cottage at nightly and weekly prices lower than most Truro and Provincetown hotels. Watch sunrises over Pilgrim Lake viewed from one window and sunsets celebrated over Cape Cod Bay on the beach each night. Bring a seining net and be amazed with the variety of creatures you catch and release on your private beach. Comb the beach for shells and sea glass, or kayak leisurely in the bay.

Less than 50 steps from the sand, this 320 square ft. cottage rental is furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, conventional oven, microwave, cable TV, Wifi and laundry on the association property. The cottage consists of 1 bedroom with a full bed, 1 bath and a living area with sleeping for 1 adult (5ft 4in or shorter) or two small children. The outside common area includes picnic tables, a grill, patio and shower. Guests must provide sheets and towels.

Not that you will ever want to leave the beach, but just in case, it is a short ride away from beautiful ocean beaches, Provincetown and many other attractions. You can swim in the protected waters of the bay, take a Whale Watch cruise, or play a round of golf on Truro’s fabulous Highland Links Course. Visit Pilgrim’s Monument in Provincetown, Highland Lighthouse in Truro, take a ride through the dunes, or bicycle on many of the trails that are part of the National Seashore. The area features many fine restaurants, cultural exhibits, and shows. Weekly rentals are Sunday to Sunday!!!

Perfect location

This little cottage has everything you need and nothing you don't. So close to the beach, what more could you want. The owners are also super responsive! Great place all around.

Great Cottage!

I stayed here with my brother from August 22nd to August 27th. We had a great time staying here. Super close to a very nice, private beach. It was very quiet the whole time we were there, you almost felt like you were staying at a private cottage tucked away somewhere.

One thing that was my favorite part about the cottage was the shower's water pressure!! I've gone to the cape my whole life, and I am pretty sure this place had the best shower yet.

Best place we have ever stayed

My wife and I have been coming to the Cape from Beacon, NY, for years, and I've been coming since I was a baby. We found this rental and Immediately booked it because of its location and price. When we arrived we were blow away. The pictures on the add don't do it justice. It is literally 30 ft max from the water. Views of Cape Cod Bay and P'town are amazing. And sitting on the beach at night is even better. The cottage is looks tiny on the outside but is oddly spacious inside. Great little kitchen with electric stove top and oven.the couch is on casters and can be made in to a twine+ bed. Water pressure in the shower is on point. Another thing I'd like to point out is the windows. I think there are 10 or 11 windows total that open up and on cool nights you can get a really nice cross breeze. The ac window unit is more then enough for the small cottage as well. There is a bus stop directly across the street that goes to Ptown as well that we believe comes every half hour or so. What's great about this cottage other then the beach front is its location on the outer Cape, within About 12 minutes from Ptown 1 way and 15 minutes from Wellfleet Harbor the other, for the price of this cottage it can not be beat.

The owners are very nice as well responding to every email sent in a timely matter and also emailing us info of things to do and see. I already recommended this cottage to several friends and are already planning on booking for another week in September. Last thing is the price. I could not believe how inexpensive the cottage was for being in its location and being I season. 10 outa 10.

Great week at the end of the Cape

A friend and I were looking for a place to spend a couple of days pretty far onto the Cape. This rental was perfect for our needs. The community was full of friendly people, but we certainly felt like we had our own privacy. There is a private beach, which was a great way to spend the day. The property was secluded enough that you could relax on the beach in peace, but you could be in Provincetown in less than ten minutes. The accommodations were cozy with a very nautical feel. The place was very clean when we arrived. Although we had no issues, the owners have been very responsive to all of my correspondence. Not needing to rent for the entire week was a major plus with busy work schedules. show more show less

Cute Cottage Beautiful Beach

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for one week while we were taking art classes nearby. The interior is well laid out and very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs for preparing meals with a good size refrigerator. The common area was very nice to have use of and the beach was a few steps away. The beach was stunning, a great place to watch beautiful sunsets. Jean was responsive to all of my questions. Would definitely rent again !

Pristine bay-beach Cape holiday

After years of searching for a quiet, commerce-free beach vacation locale, we happened upon a listing for a quaint cottage in Truro on the Cape. We had been to P'Town a couple of times, but somehow the town of Truro was off our radar. Probably because it doesn't announce itself loudly as one is approaching the Cape's end. As it turns out, that is the good news!

In stark contrast to the pageantry and crowds of P'Town, this small cottage community provides comfort, friendly vacationing and long term neighbors, and a very swim-able bay 100 paces from the front door.

I was there for a week. I swam every day. It was heavenly. And because beach access on the ocean side (several miles away) is exclusive to those who have a short or long term rental contract, the beaches are respected, friendly and protected from the throngs of most busy seaside locations. The week's pass only cost $50. A steal.

The cottage is extremely well cared for, clean, and the ambiance is homey and "beachy" in the best of ways.

We are very particular about our summer destinations. We would definitely go back.
One word of advice. Unless you have a sizable budget for food (the cheapest eats are pricey), shop for the week and make use of the very user friendly kitchen. We cooked a number of seafood meals. Fish bought fresh at Mac's on the south border of P'Town, 5 or so miles away.
And when you are in the mood for some action, P'Town is a shortish drive right up Rte 6 and 6A. We had a marvelous whale watch (12 individual whales, seen multiple times... a banquet) and also a dune ride offered by Art's in town. Art's jeeps have access to the dunes that no others have. Magic.

Excellent Location for a Reasonable Price

We went for the week of the 4th and the accommodations were excellent. The bus into town was easy to catch and navigate for when we wanted to explore P-Town and the ocean was right out the door for when we wanted something more down to earth. The dunes were just a minute or two away but we found out too late that you need a permit drive your 4x4 in them. We brought everything but the kitchen sink only to find that the cottage was fully stocked with dishes, toilet paper, beach chairs, blankets (no sheets), cookware and even some basic spices (and a lot more I am sure I am forgetting). The A/C and cable also made it easy to relax at night after a hot day in the sun. The only con I can come up with about our stay was the beds were firm, but my partner had no issue, I'm just a princess-and-the-pea type.

Long story short, our stay was wonderful and I 100% recommend.

Our Cape Vacation

Jean,
I just wanted to tell you that Donna and I enjoyed our stay at your home. The place was cozy and quaint, everything you said it would be. The beach was awesome. We met so many nice people. Twice, two different people offered us a ride into town, while we were waiting for the shuttle. As for the shuttle, it arrived every 1/4 of and 1/4 after the hour, just like clock work. We like the idea of cooking breakfasts and dinners instead of going out to eat all the time$$$.

We hope we left it as we found it. Right down to having the 2 remotes and channel guide left where we found it. The wifi was perfect.

We are considering renting it next year.

Thank you for the use of your home.

Very satisfied renters,
Paul and Donna Galligan

Wonderful stay!

This cozy little rental was perfect for my little family! The location is great, and the beach is amazing. We didn't even visit another beach :) we were surprised at how close we were to Provincetown. The condo was fully equipped and had all we needed to make it a pleasant and fun stay. Thank you!

After 30 years of vacationing in Truro, Mike and I found this beautiful cottage for sale on Beach Point. We wish we could spend entire summers here but since we can't we are hoping that other people will be able to have wonderful vacations in this picturesque and ever changing landscape. After renting for many years, we understand what guests are looking for and we have tried to make the accommodations bright, clean, comfortable and inviting.

What is special about this property?
Convenience and comfort are the key elements of a great vacation. Our cottage offers both all day and night! Take a morning stroll on the beach just outside your door with a hot cup of coffee, or swim and kayak the bay in the warm afternoon sun. Keep track of the tides and enjoy the exploration for sea creatures and polished sea glass left behind at low tide. Barbecue and relax with a glass of wine while watching the sunset in the evening - all without ever leaving the property. Open the cottage windows at night for the warm bay breeze or close them and enjoy the air conditioned atmosphere on more humid evenings. This site has everything you need; an outdoor shower for sandy bodies just off the beach, laundry facilities and patios with barbecues, lounge chairs, picnic tables and umbrellas. For more fun, leave the car in your cottage-assigned parking space and hop on the shuttle to P-Town which stops in front of the cottage every 30 minutes all day and night so you never have to worry about parking in town.

What is special about your town?
The outer cape has been written about and photographed extensively for many years due to its unique ''cape light'' and geographic fascinations. It is comprised of dunes, bogs, ponds and streams that sit on a narrow strip of land jutting out into the Atlantic. With the numerous beaches on both the bay and the ocean, the number and variety of restaurants and bars, the golf courses, theaters, art galleries, biking and hiking trails, and shops in P Town, Truro and Wellfleet alone, you can enjoy a variety of activities everyday. And if that isn't enough, you can experience a whale watch, a sunset cruise on a beautiful schooner, deep sea fishing, para sailing or yoga on a paddle board. You will not be bored on land or sea!
