Welcome to Camellia Cottage, the perfect blend of inviting spaces, glorious sunshine and rejuvenating sea breezes!

Just steps from the beach at Cape Cod Bay (deeded access) and minutes from Truro’s world-class ocean beaches, Camellia Cottage offers panoramic water views, light-filled rooms, resort furnishings and convenient access to Provincetown via shuttle bus. Throw the windows open to enjoy the breeze or stay cool and dry with whole house air conditioning - the choice is yours.

The living room is furnished with two oversized chairs and a sleeper sofa (queen memory foam mattress) upholstered in durable Sunbrella fabric. A 65'' 4K HDTV over the fireplace makes this room the perfect spot for movie night after a long, sun-soaked day at the beach.

The dining room features a large bespoke wood table (built by Harp Design Company of HGTV's ''Fixer Upper'') surrounded by 8 bistro chairs, where you can enjoy water and dune views while sharing meals, playing board games, sipping coffee or just telling stories.

The sunporch offers another great gathering spot for conversation, cocktails or an afternoon nap with comfortable sofa and chairs.

Upstairs is a loft for reading, catching up on some work, or enjoying some screen time away from the rest of the house. It is furnished with a mid-century modern desk and chair, iMac computer, 55'' 4K HDTV, chair-and-a-half lounger, bean bags for the kids and toy box filled with games for all ages. The panoramic views of Pilgrim Lake and Cape Cod Bay from this room are breathtaking!

The fully stocked kitchen (all new stainless steel appliances) offers a central location from which you can cook your favorite family meals or just serve takeout. The kitchen counter has two barstools which are great for grabbing breakfast or a snack, or just chatting with the cook.

The first bedroom features a queen size Casper mattress, crisp linens and a quiet reading spot. This room is served by a full bathroom (shower only) just down the hallway.

The second bedroom features a king size Casper mattress, crisp linens and en suite bathroom (shower only). The bedroom has great light and is large enough to set up a Pack 'n Play or bassinet if needed.

The master suite above the garage is a lovely private retreat. It also features a king Casper mattress and crisp linens, as well as restored mid-century modern furniture including a pair of chairs for relaxing while enjoying the views of Pilgrim Lake. If rain chases you off the beach you can binge watch Netflix on a 65'' 4K HGTV from an upholstered sleigh bed. There is also ample room for a young family to set up a bassinet or Pack 'n Play. The full bathroom (tub/shower combo) is also en suite. (This room also has a kitchenette but we do not currently use it and intend to remove it in the near future.)

While the purpose of Camellia Cottage is to get away, whole-house ultra-fast gigabit internet allows you to stay connected. In addition, Sonos whole-house audio will play your favorite vacation music in every room.

Thoughtful art and photography finish off a home furnished with both new and antique pieces, all of which come together to make a special vacation cottage for your family and you to enjoy. The sunset views of Pilgrim Lake, Provincetown and Cape Cod Bay are incredible - immortalized by countless artists over the years. Take a much-needed vacation and enjoy them from the lovely Camellia Cottage!

Please note, as with many properties on Shore Road, our house is near Highway 6 (Shore Road is also known as Highway 6A). As such, there can be road noise from Hwy 6, particularly during the day and high summer season. We honestly do not find it to be an issue however want to make it clear for those who may be highly sensitive to road noise. Thank you!

    Hey there - thank you for taking a look at our home away from home, Camellia Cottage! We are the Aiken family - Matt, Patsy, Parke, and Callie. We have lived in Birmingham AL since the mid 1990s however we have roots on the Cape as Matt grew up in Truro before heading off for school. We have a number of family and friends who still have roots in Truro as well. We bought our second home in 2018 and have loved every minute of being in it when we're there. We've rented it out a few weeks each summer and look forward to hosting your family at our home Summer 2023!

    What is special about this property?
    We love the combination of sun, sand, water, and wind on Beach Point. Even on a cloudy and rainy day, our home is filled with light and lovely views. It is also a treat to be able to walk right across the street and have your chair and toes in the sand immediately. You can run back and forth to get snacks, drinks and naps. We have worked very hard to create a home that is comfortable and lovely, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out a bit.

    What is special about your town?
    Close proximity to Provincetown (we live right on the bus route) ensures easy access to great restaurants, shops, and galleries. A private bay beach (with deeded access) is right across the street from our house and world-famous ocean beaches are a 5 minute drive away. It's such a unique and beautiful part of the Cape!
