Description

The house has 3 levels, each with a full bath. The top level contains a master bedroom with king bed and sitting room and a second bedroom with a queen bed. Both bedrooms have HD tvs with dvd players and wireless internet, as well as it;s own Mitsubishi Split a/c unit. There is a bath between them. The main level consists of a living area with a large chef's kitchen with counter bar and HDTV and dvd player, a separate dining area with house-wide stereo, a large fireplaced living room with a library and access to the rear patio with grille and seating. The main level has a bathroom with tub. This main level and the bottom level are air conditioned with Mitsubishi Splits. The lower level has a bedroom with a queen bed and a double futon, a bath and a large sitting area with HDTV and dvd player and 300+ dvd library, and access to a lower yard, outdoor shower, and deck. Beach chairs and towels are stored there, too.

The house is located on a quaint dirt road and overlooks a wooded valley from the rear. It is a short walk to Savory/Sweet Escape and a short 2 mile ride to Longnook Beach.

    Best family vacation!!

    The most comfortable and relaxing house we've ever rented. David could have not been nicer and if we needed anything he'd be there. The beach was down the street and was perfect for my two grandchildren. Anything you left back at home he had it all-wii definitely be returning next summer!!!

    Great House

    We rented this house for a family vacation, six adults and two toddlers. The house is spacious, clean and very well equipped. We had an excellent stay and the location was perfect! It was very relaxing. The owner, David, was very helpful and communicative. We would definitely return!

    We had a great experience, the owners were nearby and VERY responsive to our questions and requests. The gardens are wonderful, like french country gardens we have visited. Will definitely return.

    We just got back from a week stay at this house. It is a great house with lots of space, very nicely decorated with some beautiful art work and cozy touches. The gardens were in full bloom, and while not on the beach, offers a a very private back yard overlooking a wooded valley. You can either walk or ride your bike to Cornhill beach. On the ocean side, Longnook Cove is also nearby.

    The wireless access was a plus, along with the great selection of DVD's. The owner was very helpful. Would definitely recommend

    The Owners have been vacation rental owners/providers since 2001. We do our best to pay attention to detail and cater to our Guest's needs. We are nearby during the rental season and are available should our guests need help or the property needs repairs or attention.

    What is special about this property?
    The property is close to many conveniences yet maintains a very private feeling as it is on a dirt road with virtually no houses visible from the rear of the property which is a nearly 10 acre parcel of land which is uninhabited. the property is quiet and covered with beautiful gardens inhabited by many varieties of wildlife.
