We are a family of four who love to travel, play in the sun, hike and canoe! Carrie has been visiting the Cape for a week each summer with her family since she was a baby. And she introduced Tim to the Cape in 2005. We have been in love ever since! In 2017 we were able to buy our own Cape Cod farmhouse where we lived with our two daughters for the winters and shoulder seasons making improvements and updates each year for about 5 years. Now we have a cottage next door, where we typically spend time in the summer, so we are often in the area to quickly address any problems should they arise. We also have an awesome team of professionals who help out when we aren't in the area.

The bedrooms are well ventilated, with comfy beds, clean quality cotton sheets, dresser or closet for clothing storage. There is central AC in the upstairs bedrooms and a window AC unit in the downstairs master bedroom. This antique house offers the charm of historic New England with bright wooden floors, original beautiful antique doors, tall ceilings and two charming stair cases. In addition to the historic charm, the house still gives you all of the modern necessities for a spectacular, relaxing summer vacation; four flatscreen TVs, dvd players, beautifully remodeled fully appointed cook's kitchen, clean updated bathrooms, laundry room with washer & dryer, fully enclosed outdoor shower, outdoor patio with 8 chairs & umbrella, large fenced in yard with swing set, play house and slide.

What is special about your town?
Orleans is a lovely town. It is located farther out on the Cape, so has less crowds and less traffic. It is still close enough to drive back into Hyannis or head out in the opposite direction to the beautiful, remote and still wild National Seashore beaches. Orleans has one of the best beaches on the Cape as our town beach, Nauset Beach. And with the addition of a new parking lot in 2021 there is now plenty of parking at Nauset. We also have a wonderful kid friendly bay beach, Skaket Beach, with smaller waves, dramatic tide changes and lots of sea creatures (crabs, shells, seaweed, snails etc) at low tide.
