We had a wonderful week at this property. The property itself is exactly as described. The kitchen is large and well appointed. We cooked most nights and never had to scramble for a utensil, pot or pan. The bedrooms were comfortable and welcoming. The large family room is great for nightly movies. We spent a great deal of time in the outside space, playing pool, reading and swimming in the pool. The location is outstanding. A stone's throw from wonderful beaches and a short drive to the National Seashore beaches. It's very quiet at night and you will sleep peacefully. show more show less

After an enjoyable visit to Carol's home last fall, we decided to spend a week this summer. It was a wonderful vacation! First, the location in Orleans can't be beat - restaurants, shops, baseball and biking are all right there. Also, it's a quick drive to Nauset or Skaket beaches, and beautiful Crystal Lake is just around the corner. Although the weather was terribly hot, we stayed nice and cool in the backyard pool. To top it all off, the home is incredibly comfortable with plenty of room for our party of 4 adults, one teen and a small dog. show more show less

If you are looking for a beautiful home with modern amenities in the heart of Cape Cod look no further than Carol's house in Orleans. This updated classic cape style home had all the things we were looking for during our week stay on the Cape; central air, updated kitchen, spacious bedrooms and a large living room/sunroom area that gave lots of space for relaxing, playing games and entertaining. The backyard was sprawling and gave the feel of a park like setting, perfect for our dog to run around safely being it was fenced in. The deck was huge including a pool table and fire pit! But if you ask our kids they'd say the pool was the best part! I have to agree the pool is what sealed the deal for us when choosing a home to rent. It was a nice big size and was very safe for children and pets. Carol was a joy to work with and was responsive with any questions we had. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and beaches, we loved this house and location so much we booked it again for next year!! We can't wait to return! show more show less

What a Great place to escape, enjoy and experience Cape Cod. Location is convenient; House was spacious, well laid out and most comfortable. My friends flew in from other states for their first experience with Cape Cod and loved the house, too. Definitely would recommend this lovely place to others!

Walking into Carol's house felt like a big hug. Welcoming and well-loved, this charming home had me feeling comfortable and relaxed as soon as I walked in the door. The layout provided plenty of space for my family to spend time together, as well as room for everyone to have some peace and quiet for themselves.

Since October weather isn't conducive to swimming, we were unable to enjoy the pool, but it would be a wonderful feature in the warmer months. We did spend a good deal of time on the large patio, enjoying a few games as we sat by the outdoor fire pit.

We love staying in Orleans, and this home is in a wonderful location. We could be at the beach, restaurants, shops, or mini golf in minutes! And Chatham, Eastham, Brewster, and Harwich (or any of the other wonderful towns) are just a short drive away.

We had a fantastic long weekend on the Cape, and much of it can be attributed to Carol's home. We hope to return again! show more show less

carol, we loved our stay at your cape home. we have visited 16 or so homes in as many years and the living room/dining room was our best yet. we loved the bedrooms they worked perfect for us and our kids/gkids. the pool was glorious to look at but in sept was a bit cool for use. the deck however was fantastic to sit out on and enjoy the firepit nightly. our son in law is a firefighter who cant make next vacation until next year, but i sure hope there is room next year for us to come back, once he gets available weeks. thank you again for all you did, hope to see you next year. show more show less

After some issues (screw in tire and two hour delay) getting here, it was a huge sigh of relief when we pulled into the driveway. Very quiet location but just minutes to anything you need. House was spotless and in a perfect location to explore the entire Cape. The only place we didn't get to was Nantucket. Awesome sectional in the living room for everyone to relax and binge watch on the Smart TV after all the day trips.

Close to great restaurants if you don't want to cook. Close to markets (family grilled me some delicious porterhouse steaks on the Weber grill for Father's Day). Pool was beautiful and would be perfect for those with young children as access is very secure. Take a short evening drive north to the Cape Cod National Seashore and watch the seals while the sun sets.

This beautiful home was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. The house is beautifully furnished with plenty of room for everyone. We definitely enjoyed the convenience of the backyard pool. Great restaurants and the beaches are just a couple of minutes away.

This home has great amenities. Will absolutely return again!

Carol's home was the perfect place for my family, friends, and dog over Memorial Day Weekend! The house was adorable - Even better in person!

Had a very spacious backyard, porch, and living/dining room. Although we received unfavorable weather all weekend, it was the ideal place to cozy up and enjoy all of the modern amenities she had to offer including a Smart TV, board games, and more! The space was incredibly clean and updated which made our time there even more relaxing. />
Carol was incredibly kind and accommodating throughout the entire booking process and put a lot of thought and care into making sure we were ready for arrival and comfortable during our stay.
