    Perfect for our Family Vacation

    Our family had a wonderful experience renting this property. Susan was very easy to deal with and left detail notes on the property to make our orientation to the house easy. The house was very clean, well furnished and suited to our family. There was beautiful separate master bedroom at one end of the house and two bedrooms at the other end for our daughter, son and daughter in law. Just enough space for all. The roof top deck was our favorite place to hang out for coffee in the morning, and cocktails and dinner in the afternoon. The walk to the private association bridge out to Nauset Beach is five minutes from house! show more show less

    We found this amazing spot 25 years ago. We have rarely rented our home. We are opening it for rental this year given our family is not available to visit. Having recently sold and moved from our family home at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, we are looking forward to working with our guests to create an amazing experience for our guests at our home ''Outlook''. Both my husband and I are very well traveled and have worked extensively in the professional services space. We know what it is to create a guest focused experience tailored to your needs.     What is special about this property?
    Our house, *Outlook*, was a typical Cape Cottage designed by Royal Barry Wills, a noted New England architect and underwent a significant renovation in 2018.

    *Outlook* has direct Atlantic Ocean views which is important as many rentals profess water views but in reality are pond front and/or pond views. The home also enjoys a private Atlantic Ocean beach which is only 200 yards walking distance away and resides in a private homeowners association. A beach guard insures the beach is accessed only by homeowners and rental property guests.

    Although good weather is always desirable, the house has faced down many a Nor'easter as we have enjoyed a beverage and a good fire when they hit. The house is not in a flood zone.

    What is special about your town?
    Orleans has more sunny days and less crowds than Chatham. One of the reasons we bought here vs. Chatham.
    We also have more services and variety. In many ways, Orleans is both a year round town and a vacation destination. Nauset Beach on the ocean and Skaket Beach on the bay are both easily accessible here. The public beach is easily walkable from our private beach area just over the dune in our neighborhood. Our specialty markets are plentiful (Friends, Cibo, Main Street Wine & Goumet, Nauset Farms & Chocolate Sparrow). We also have two amazing fish markets - Orleans Seafood and Nauset Fish and Lobster Pool. Desserts and ice cream are everywhere. So, the good news is, Orleans is also a main refuel, bike service and meeting spot for the Cape Cod Bike trail. We are fortunate to have a great Farmers market on Saturday (fresh seafood, vegetables, flowers, baked good, jams & jellies, Cape Cod lavender etc.) A great selection of proven restaurants - Land Ho, Mahoney's Yard Arm, Rock Harbor Grill just to name a few of favorites.
