Description

Central air added in 2016. Four bedrooms, 2 full baths. Beautiful, bright, clean and open floor plan home that is situated on a one acre corner lot. Air conditioned, private yard, minutes to Nauset Beach. The grounds are meticulous. Children can play bocce, soccer, croquet or wiffle ball in the front or back yard. Meanwhile, adults can enjoy morning coffee, afternoon cocktails or barbecue on the patio in complete privacy.

After you return from the beach you can clean off in the updated outside shower. Keep cool with an air conditioned house during those hot summer months at Cape Cod. Central air just added in 2016.

The first floor consists of a large, bright, kitchen which is open to the dining area (newer table comfortably seats 8)and the family room (with HD flat screen tv). The first floor also has two bedrooms (each with a queen bed),laundry room (new washer & dryer) and a full bathroom with new shower.

The second floor has two oversized bedrooms with views of Pochet Inlet. One is a master bedroom with two double beds, and the other bedroom has two twin beds and a permanent crib (not a flimsy rental crib). Both bedrooms upstairs also have lots of floor space and ceiling fans in case you don't need the central air. And there is a full bathroom on the second floor.

Our home includes; wireless high speed internet, beach toys, beach towels, beach umbrella, indoor toys, yard toys, and BBQ (with 2 extra propane tanks). Recent improvements include: newer mattresses, newer dining table that comfortably seats 8, updated outside shower with changing area, HD flat screen tv, Keurig coffee maker, room darkening Hunter Douglas easy lift shades (for sleeping late or napping kids), central air, new washer & dryer and updated first floor bathroom shower.


Note all the windows in the photos. This home is full of sunlight! (Also, central air installed in 2016, so some photos show window air conditioners which have all been removed)

Everything was great!

This was our second year renting this home. Once again, it was perfect for our extended family. Everyone enjoyed going to the beach, hanging on the patio, playing in the yard, sitting at the large table in the kitchen to eat or play games or watching a movie at night. Grandparents had such a wonderful vacation with their grandchildren. So much to do at the house and in Orleans. The family croquet tournament in the yard may have been the highlight of the week. Glad there was central air for those hot nights. We will be back again.

As always, Nauset Beach is our favorite. Perfect for all ages. But Skaket beach was great for the young kids. The nets at the house were perfect for catching minnows and hermit crabs during low tide. It's great that you have so many beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys at the house. Less stuff we had to pack! show more show less

Great house.

We had a great time. Your house was perfect for everyone! The kids loved the yard. The grandparents loved the patio when the beach was too hot for them. And the central air was perfect for everyone during the hot nights! Loved coming home and using the outside shower! Great neighborhood for walking and biking.

Our family has owned this home for many years. We use it in the off season but rent it for the summer months. We have been renting it for years!

What is special about this property?
Our home has a spectacular yard. The patio is just off the back off the house. Often we have coffee on the patio. Its great while others are still sleeping the early birds can be outside having coffee. When our kids were young they would love to play in the yard in the morning before we would go to the beach. When we return from the beach everyone gathers at the patio again. There is an oversized outdoor shower. We start the grill and just relax outside.

What is special about your town?
Orleans is a great town. There are great restaurants, mini golf, ice cream, gift shops, etc. There is a bike rental store so you can rent a bike and jump on the rail trail. Nauset Beach is in Orleans. Always voted one of the top beaches of Cape Cod. Great waves, miles of beach to walk. But if you prefer a smaller beach with no waves, then Skaket Beach is great. The tide goes out a mile, so kids have lots of play area, can wade in the water and catch hermit crabs and minnows.
