Come and enjoy our home in Chatham’s gorgeous Lighthouse Beach area. This sunny five bedroom beach house with three full bathrooms and central air conditioning, plus a deck overlooking a spacious fenced in yard, is the perfect combination of the comforts of today's home and the charm of old Cape Cod. Located in a scenic neighborhood, you can walk to Lighthouse Beach and to Outermost Harbor - choose one of several available paths and be on the beach in minutes!
Inside, the main level features an open floor plan with hardwood floors and a well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen, dining and living areas combine to make a comfortable gathering space for everyone to be together. The living room has a large screen TV. Opening on one side of the kitchen is a walk through pantry/entryway with an adjacent full bathroom. You can access the deck from this side entryway, or you can step out to it from the living area entrance. The deck stairs will bring you down into the fenced yard.
Five generously sized bedrooms and plenty of closets give everyone their own space to spread out. The living area has stairs that lead up to the second floor, where four bedrooms and a full bathroom are located. All of the bedrooms have queen sized beds. One of these bedrooms has a second door that accesses the back stairs going back to the kitchen. These back stairs also lead to the fifth bedroom, set somewhat apart from the others, with a queen bed. Here you will find another full bathroom, as well as the washer and dryer. <br /> All three bathrooms have one piece tub/showers. There is also a fully enclosed hot and cold outdoor shower.<br /> There is driveway parking for 3 cars (no on-street parking allowed in this area), and plenty of space to store bikes, strollers, fishing gear, etc. Sitting outside in the quiet of the evening, you can hear the distant roar of the ocean and see the beam of the Chatham Lighthouse sweep across the sky. Glimpses of the beach come into view from various locations in the house. Walk outdoors in any direction, and you will discover yet another scenic vista that reminds you that you are by the sea. <br /> Stroll one mile to downtown Chatham, a great walking destination with shopping, restaurants and (seasonally) the famous free Friday night concerts at the Chatham bandstand and Cape Cod Summer League baseball. Find swimming, boating, fishing, bird watching all within walking distance. If you want to stay in comfort near the best that Chatham has to offer, but in a neighborhood away from the crowds, our home is the place for you. <br /> Inquires welcomed.
