Cozy Family Friendly Home - Short Walk to Forest Beach

We recently had the pleasure to stay here in July of 2022. This is a great choice for a rental property in Chatham. Close to everything in Harwich and Chatham. Very convenient to Cockle Cove Beach and also close to Ridgevale and Hardings as well. There's also a beach at the end of Forest Beach Road which is about a half-mile from the home.

In the home, plenty of room to spread out. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning and pet friendly. Fast wireless internet. Washer/dryer. The deck was our favorite place to hang out. The house has everything you'd probably need including a well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, some beach toys for the kids, cooler, wagon, etc. Very comfortable and a good layout. Great landlords - excellent communication and security deposit refunded within a day of checkout. Highly recommended. show more show less

The first time I our family had been to the Cape we stayed here, it was perfect. The kids had a place to hang out in the yard, the deck was a comfortable spot to enjoy our coffee, and it was just around the corner from a beach. It was everything we could hope for, so much so, we keep going back!

My three children and I spent a few days at Johnny and Bonni's cottage. It had everything we needed and Johnny was available to answer any questions I had. It is very close to the beach and a short drive to many adventures on the Cape. The hammock was especially nice to lay in and read a book or just be, as well as the deck and patio table to eat dinner. The kids enjoyed the loft area for sleeping and playing and the outdoor shower. There was plenty of room for our family and for a few more. We had an amazing time and can't wait to visit again!

After 25+ years of renting cottages in Chatham, I'm qualified to write a review! The owner was attentive and easy to reach. The location is ideal, quick walk to beach! the cottage has lots of space and fit our large group comfortably. Additionally, it was extremely comfortable in temperature even though it was a hot week! The parking situation was perfect, lots of room for off-street parking and still room for the croquet court! Finally, it was such a relief to find a cottage that everyone liked! show more show less

Lovely, quaint cottage! Short walk to a quiet beach. Great yard for children to play in. Loved the deck, which is gated. Good location with easy access to anywhere. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking, even lobsters and steamers! Nice beach breezes on the large deck. Quiet neighborhood for total relaxation.

This was my first visit to the Cape and I found my favorite getaway cottage on Kitty’s Lane !
Perfect location. Better than expected home with lovely attention to detail . From the moment I arrrived, I felt peaceful and relaxed ! Lots of glorious days on the beach , adgternoond in the hammock or enjoying the shaded deck area ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
