It’s impossible to find a vacation home on the Cape closer to the water than the “Plum Daffy” cottage. The home is perched atop the seawall overlooking the Oyster River with Stage Harbor Light and Monomoy Island beyond. The experience on the deck over the water most resembles a view from a boat. The private beach along this stretch is great for kayaking and swimming. A one-minute walk takes you to the iconic Chatham Oyster Shacks right on the aptly named Oyster River. Pick up your seafood on foot for the evening! Have a boat? The town landing is at the end of the driveway where guests can park and launch! This area provides easy access to Monomoy Island, Hardings Beach, and other Nantucket Sound destinations. </span></span><br><br><span><span>The house is comprised of two levels. The first floor is where you’ll find the fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. There is a first floor bedroom with two twins and an adjacent full bathroom. An open deck provides your outdoor living and dining space and serves up exceptional waterside views. The cottage has an enclosed outdoor shower and a gas grill.</span></span><br><br><span><span>Upstairs you’ll find an additional bedroom with a queen and spectacular water views. Additionally, there is a loft space upstairs with a pull-out sofa bed for overflow sleeping space. There is a full bath upstairs as well. The house is cooled by window AC units if the sea breeze doesn’t do the trick!</span></span><br><br><span><span>There’s a smart TV and high speed Wi-Fi here, too.
