Lovely four-bedroom home in wooded area. Large open living and dining room and open kitchen to dining room.. Very high ceiling with 2 levels of windows, so very light.

There is a grand piano in the living room. Folks are welcome to use it if they play, otherwise just keep covered. A slider from the dining area leads to the large deck. Kitchen is very well equipped.

There are two bedrooms on the first floor--one with a queen bed and the other with a double (full) bed. The second bedroom has a nice desk and a printer you are welcome to use. There is also a bathroom with tub/shower on this floor.

The lower level has a roomy den with comfortable seating and a game table--perfect for puzzles, card and board games. There are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a full (double bed) and one has two twins. There is also a full bathroom with tub/shower. The washer and dryer are also located in the lower level. There is a slider leading outside from the den.
<br /> The large deck has a dining table with chairs, 2 rockers, and a gas grill. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower on the other side of the house.<br /> <br /> A/C: The home has ductless split unit air conditioners in the main living area, the two first floor bedrooms, the lower level bedroom (closest to the slider) and the lower level den. (The second lower level bedroom with two twins does not have an a/c unit.)<br /> <br /> The home is just over a mile to Duck Pond (a little over a 20-minute walk per Google Maps; a few parking spaces with town beach sticker)--one of the town''s beloved freshwater ponds.     Magical and spacious Wellfleet home

    What a spectacular place this is! This was our second time staying at this wonderful home. It truly is a magical place, close to all of the amazing amenities that Wellfleet has to offer (including a short and scenic walk to the majestic Duck Pond, our very favorite of the Wellfleet kettle ponds), but also with a secluded, woodsy feel. The deck is large and a perfect spot for eating Wellfleet oysters, barbecuing, relaxing, and watching birds. We stayed at the house with extended family members, and the kids loved having the downstairs space for their use. We also greatly appreciated being permitted to use the beach gear (shade tent, chairs, boogie boards, stand-up paddle boards, etc) at the house.     Wonderful, cozy, treehouse vibe

    We have stayed multiple times at this charming home. It is tastefully decorated, with huge windows in the living/dining/kitchen area that make it feel like being in a treehouse. The large deck is a heavenly reading/relaxing/dining spot for mornings, dinners, and everything in between. We love walking past the alpaca farm to Duck Pond. The setting is perfect for kids. Eileen is a lovely and responsive host.

    I am a pediatrician, have been coming to the Cape since college, and finally bought this house during the pandemic. I am a music lover, thus the piano. I am available by phone for any needs you may have.

    What is special about this property?
    The house is really special! It's beautiful, filled with light, quiet, with a huge deck and outdoor dining. IT's incredibly easy to get to the ocean beaches. There are bikes and helmets for your use in the utility room. AN early morning walk to Duck Pond (20 minutes) for a refreshing swim is a great way to start the day. There are lots of books on the book shelves, a classic Scrabble game, and puzzles in the house.

    What is special about your town?
    Wellfleet is so beautiful. The beaches speak for themselves. The ponds are crystal clear. There are great restaurants but it's really nice to cook at home and eat on the deck. There is a great library with activities for kids. The Cape Cod Chamber musical festival has summer concerts in Wellfleet with world class chamber musicians! Payment in Truro has great events. The Wellfleet Harbor Actor's theater is close to house on Route 6. Don't forget the Wellfleet Drive-In!
