Amazing House in Nat'l Seashore-Walk to Ocean and Ponds

We have been to the area several times and found this property a gem. The house is stellar and roomy, with a large kitchen, dining table and outdoor area (outdoor showers are great). Every need has been tended to. Owners are very attentive, and it is decorated with good taste and has tons of natural light. A great perk is that it is only a 1/4 mile from the beach and 1/4 mile from the ponds. We loved doing both! Lots of secret trails to discover right from the property. Bring or rent mountain/gravel bikes to explore all the dirt back roads and paths. We found something new to discover every day.
This is a quiet area, set apart with no bordering house on either side, nor across the road. We have found our 'forever rental"! show more show less

In June 2021, we spent an idyllic week at this spectacular house in Wellfleet with two other couples and several of our children who came and went throughout the week. We cannot imagine a more perfect setting for a birthday celebration or any other important occasion. The house is airy and spacious with beautiful furnishings and a stunning design, yet it also has the cozy atmosphere of a traditional cottage and a fantastic indoor/outdoor feel. We had memorable meals around the long oak trestle table in the large, light-filled dining room/ living room area and wonderful times spent with our coffee or tea on its delightful deck and screened-in porch. Nestled among the trees, you have all the wonders of Wellfleet, from woods to ponds to ocean, just a stone's throw from your door, and a whole network of wooded trails on which to run or wander. We had a truly idyllic stay in this solid, luxurious house, where you instantly feel at home. It is by far the best of all possible getaways. show more show less
