What a terrific place- I could not recommend more highly! We have come back multiple times to relax and enjoy the Outer Cape.

Very convenient to both bay and ocean beaches, hiking trails, well and thoughtfully equipped, comfortable beds and living area, attentive hosts! Diane and Bill take care of your needs quickly but leave you alone to enjoy the beautiful quiet area. The pictures accurately depict the lovely wooded setting and the art filled house. The library is also a treat to peruse and sample. Often times we end up starting a book and go home and buy our own copy to finish!

There's really nothing negative to say about this home in Wellfleet. Only praise.

I've stayed here many times during each season over the past 10 years. To start, the hosts, Diane and her husband Bill, are wonderful caretakers. They live about 15 minutes away in Truro and are readily available if you have any questions about the house, the town and attractions in the area. Very gracious and kind. They take great care in maintaining the home, even cleaning it themselves between renters so that the place is always immaculate and running smoothly.

This a very charming cottage in a quiet, natural area of Wellfleet called Indian Neck. The neighboring homes are visible but the large lot affords you plenty of privacy. Great area for walking, and off road trails are close by. It's a short, quick drive to both the bay and ocean beaches on the back country roads, and to get into the heart of the town where you find great restaurants, shops, galleries and markets. It's hard to be bored here in this central location to the National Seashore and all that the town and neighboring towns have to offer. Great for a family as it's on a quiet cul-de-sac so no fear of the kids playing outside with cars going by.

The house itself is cozy, comfortable, clean, visually fresh and has all the amenities you need for a wonderful vacation. Great comfy beds, W & D, dishwasher, WiFi, cable on a nice new TV, gas grill, great deck, fireplace, etc.

The hosts are always improving the home and it feels just like that. A real home, not just a cold rental with yard sale items thrown into it to make money during the season. Diane is an artist who loves color and her art work in the home, books, antiques, all make you feel like you're staying at an old friend's house! All this and it's extremely affordable for the area. I have been returning to Diane's house with my family since 2007 and find it's just an ideal place to be! Whether your inclination is to sit back and enjoy a book and nature on a wonderful property (and deck), walk to the bayside or enjoy the best of amenities of Cape Cod/Wellfleet, it is perfect for one's needs and desires! The owners are exceptional in being mindful of guests along with providing information relative to the area's local fare and activities. Having ocean-side within 5 minutes and CC bike/rail trail is an added bonus.

I have rented other properties on the East Coast and find this exceptional. 'Off-season' rental is especially appealing with less traffic, cooler temperatures and an excuse to have a roaring fire in the fireplace. show more show less
